As great as it would be to derail the Noles' title train, they are going to lay a beating on us the likes of which you will not often see.

What a teaser thread title. I was expecting some trash talk. (Why, I have no clue) the game is forever away from now. Lol

Stanford held the ball 43 minutes tonight. That would be the only way Florida could stay in the game with FSU.

Key for their victory was holding on to the ball for 43 minutes and scoring after those long drives. We usually do a good job of winning the T.O.P., but can't score after those long drives.

Correct, and that's what I should have added.

Florida can't take 7 minutes off the clock, then kick a field goal and miss it like they did against UGA for example.

Only if they let us hold the ball in our own locker room for 43 minutes. :)

That was the point of the thread.

Whether we are 7-4 or 4-7 (yikes) going in , this match up becomes effectively our bowl game, the chance to derail the national championship hopes of a hated rival.

As for it helping tOSU, it might, but given their schedule, it is possible that Baylor or Stanford could pull ahead of them, particularly the Bears who still have a tough road game at Oklahoma State.

I love KT....will be a great back but his Daddy could take over a game.

Maybe this will be more like 89....where Emmitt ran well and we kept it closer than people thought

Only shot is if we knock JW out of the game early....and of course I'd hate to see that happen:)

Maybe, just depends how they come out. Anything is possible. If a 4-4 Utah team can beat Stanford what's stopping us from beating FSU?

IMO, Stanford's win just made fsu that much more focused and hungrier.

We need have productive drives with 2 TDs at the end of them.
