    Any news on Damontre's wheareabouts? If the rift with the coaches is as wide as it seems, I don't imagine he'd see any reason to stay in Gainesville after exams finished.

    From what we've seen (or not seen in the case of Walker), I don't see either as one-and-dones.

    Not only is Hill not a one-and-don't, but I don't expect him to be as good as Chris Chiozza next season.

    Totally agree. Heck, Hill has a hard time staying composed out there - NBA would swallow him up.

    is Walker eligible for the NBA?? I thought there is a rule that he play a certain amount to satisfy his college requirement?? anyone know??

    It doesn't have anything to do with college. It is 1 year out of high school.

    Gotham, thanks for managing this thread it helps me a ton.
    How can I tell how many scholarships are still available for a recruiting class?? (next year for example, I feel like we still have 1 whether or not Walker or Hill leave early).

    We are limited to 13 scholarships total at any one time, so just see how many people will be around in any given year.

    Zero chance hill leaves, I have not seen enough of walker obviously, but my gut says he returns

    So I'd say Chris Walker, Dorian Finney Smith, Michael Frazier & Kasey Hill are obvious starters for us next year since I can't see either Walker or Hill leaving this early

    Would Damontre Harris be ready to be a starter & get 20-25 Minutes @ Center? Depth up front is so low, can't imagine who else it'd be

    Then we got Eli Carter & Dillon Graham returning from injuries & Devon Walker still on the bench & Alex Murphy eligible in December

    I'd expect Chris Chiozza to be the only one of the 3 freshmen to get playing time & likely have Brandone Francis & Devon Robinson wait it out a year

    Got the team figured out for next year?

    Yes, because history proves nothing and true freshmen always run the point better than sophomores at Florida. But, hey, you saw Hill and Chiozza play in a tournament as preps, so that's the end of the discussion.

    Serina, I am not sure why you have to make your posts so obnoxious, but you are who you are. I said two months ago that I didn't expect Kasey to be as good as Chiozza next season. And, yes, I based that on seeing both of them play. Big friggin' deal. Obviously, I could turn out to be wrong, and likely will be wrong if Kasey continues the improvement we saw against Kentucky. Long before Kasey showed up at Florida, I opined that Kasey was not as good a player as Joel Berry, Nigel Williams-Goss and Tyler Ennis, and that he was not going to start over Wilbekin at any point during his freshman year. I was in the distinct minority on that, but I had seen Kasey play. He was a great AAU run and gun player, but was not a great half-court offense player for Montverde. I also said a few years ago that Dan Werner could be the next Adam Morrison. Why don't you blast me on that one while your at it. I also stood alone several years ago in saying that we should be going after Shane Larkin instead of Austin Rivers, and that Vargas and Kadji would not start over Alex Tyus. Maybe you ought to congratulate me on those ones. I can go on and on. Win some, lose some. That's what goes on when you offer opinions on things.

    On another note, what is it with this fanbase and their opinions on incoming point guards? The #2 guy is almost always considered better than his predecessor, and it rarely if ever turns out to be the case. Scottie's better than Erv, Hill's better than Scottie, now Chiozza is better than Hill. :rolleyes:
