    If you look at the ratings on a weekly basis, Gator games are typically amongst the top 5 most watched games every week no matter the opponent. The state of Florida has more television sets than any state in the SEC (including Texas). We bring in the viewers and networks love to broadcast our games.

    True. For the major networks, it's always the number of eyeballs a team attracts, not necessarily the quality of the game. ESPN's very sports-oriented audience allows them to emphasize the game, since that's what they're audience responds to.
