If you stay at the Renaissance by the Louisiana Mall (I met all of the Gator Womens BBall team there 2 years ago) then fly your Gator flags HIGH!!! The owners are obnoxious LSU fans and deserve every bit of Gator Nation they can handle. Used to work there and they know who I am...they will have the side of the building lit up in LSU colors...oh how much I wanted to change it to Orange and Blue!! Do this for me....

If you are in the 600 sections in the stadium bring your oxygen because they are very high up.

As for the NO Gator Club bus trip, we took it two years ago and the people were very nice but the organizational skills were lacking. Dropped us off along some busy road with vague instructions on where to find the bus after the game. Once we found the bus after the game we waited for two hours until all of the drunk Gators found the bus. Not cool at all after the terrible game. Take my advice rent a car and drive. It is only about a 90 minute drive from NO

Any Gators setting up or interested in setting up a tailgate? If someone has the tailgate space we will bring a few handles and some cold ones. My first time to Baton Rouge so don't know how to kick it around there! Go Gata! Our plan is to leave the ATL Friday for Nola do a night there then get up early as hell after getting hammered there to drive to BR.

Based on the map for parking, it looks like the Parker Coliseum is free parking, as we're planning to get there early (by 8am), I'm hoping to get a spot there. Anyone know if that's a good location to see the campus?

Parking is really really bad there...seriously bad! Even LSU fans say the same thing. You have to walk along way to get to the stadium unless you plan on setting up in the few on campus locations available. Oh and LSU fans do hate you for being a Gator...trust me on this. I am as good a fan as there is win or lose but it was really hard dealing with drunk LSU fans at Buffalo Wild Wings...they are all experts beyond experts! You will find that they will say this..ya'll played a good game but the team sucks and we beat your ass! It will go on over and over and over....for my money..watch the game and leave. I lived there and of all the places I have lived in...I will never go back. Never!!!! Go Gators! RESPECT!

The Chimes and Buffalo Wild Wings at the north gate. Walk-ons south of Tiger Stadium. Lots more around south Baton Rouge, just not walking distance from the stadium.

This is just where we discard of the Gators, after the game when we give them a good beatdown!!

But seriouslly come early, walk around and enjoy the tailgaiting, just expect ALOT of "tiger Bait" it's harmless, but just like any other school we do have a few yellow tooth band wagon fans that go to for, but for the most part the fans will be very hospitable, to me death valley, and the swamp are very comparible. With death valley just being a bit louder. For food check out walk-ons and the chimes. I hope you enjoy!!
Be prepared to partake in some adult beverages.....you will blend right in then!
