    >> Harvin Back At Practice.

Renton, Wash. - Seattle Seahawks WR Percy Harvin has cleared league-mandated concussion protocol and has returned to practice as a full participant.

Harvin was on the field for Seattle's practice on Wednesday, his first since suffering a concussion in the 2nd quarter of the NFC divisional playoff game against New Orleans on Jan. 11. Harvin was not cleared last week. <<

    >> Super Bowl Notes.

    Harvin's Season a "Blessing".

Renton, Wash. - Percy Harvin doesn't want to think about all the setbacks in his first season in Seattle.

Harvin said Thursday that while it has been a frustrating season, he's trying to get himself ready for the Feb. 2 Super Bowl against Denver.

"It's been a roller coaster but it's all been a blessing. I wouldn't take anything back that happened this year. It's made me a stronger person," the wide receiver said. "It was definitely frustrating but it's all over now. We get to play for the Super Bowl. That's all in the past.

Harvin returned to practice Wednesday after passing the league's concussion protocol. He was injured late in the first half of Seattle's divisional round win over New Orleans, then was a spectator Sunday as Seattle beat San Francisco to reach the second Super Bowl in franchise history. <<

God bless Percy. He sure has a good attitude and looking ahead despite what all he's been through. I hope he has a great Super Bowl day! :)

And hope he does't freeze to death!

I'm a big believer in defense wins championships. However, That defense is going up against one of the best QBs to ever play the game.

I want to say Seattle wins it, but I just can't bet against Manning on this one. He's on fire this year.

Give me Manning and the Broncos. (In a close one)

You boys are handicappin' the WRONG angle...I hate to write this...but much like horse racing...outside influences MIGHT determine the outcome...

Find out the REF. crew assigned...penalty calls...esp...on defensive 2ndary...if they're going to allow Hawks to continue their mugging ways...Denver's toast....however if they're gonna throw a few hankies early to set the tone...Seattle will get scorched...

just my 2 cents...1943 copper that is!

The most impressive thing in this picture is Russell Wilson flying past Lynch to block for him downfield.

Sports Info I heard on local radio this morning. Do not recall their source. It is interesting.

Percentage of the Super Bowl TV viewers who will be watching the Game mainly for the TV Commercials and not the game:

    55% of All TV Viewers

    67% of All Female Viewers.

    44% of All Male Viewers.

USA Today wants your opinions of the TV Commercials.

    >> SUPER BOWL

    Goodell Ready To Tackle Elements.

New York - He'll be wearing a coat and no doubt gloves.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will be like most other folks at the Super Bowl on Feb. 2 in East Rutherford NJ - he'll be outside.

The league says the commissioner will be sitting in the elements as he regularly does at games - rain or shine, cold or warm.

Goodell often sits in the stands or is in a luxury box that has outdoor seats. He's done that in the past, even in serious chill.

He sat in the stands in Minnesota at the outdoor game after the Metrodome roof collapsed in 2010. He also once sat at a game in Chicago where he said his beer froze. <<
