I wonder if most fans know that Georgia Tech was once in the SEC?
I think they still have more SECC than UF even though they haven't played in the SEC for 50 yrs.

I was wrong they have 5...we have 8. But they do have 4 NC.
I bet they and Tulane regret leaving the SEC...Esp. Tulane

I sure do! They left about 1965. They got tired of Alabama always getting their way and running the SEC! It came to a head when they had a player who got a cheap shot resulting in a bad injury from a Bama player in a game. The SEC did nothing about it. Surprise.

What happened to the crazy Thursday night games? Remember the year when it felt like an upset every week? That was awesome.

I wanted to wait until Halftime to respond.

I agree. I also wish Georgia Tech was back in the SEC. When the SEC did their last expansion a couple of years ago I thought Texas A&M would be an absolutely perfect fit in the SEC West! And I sure think the Aggies have proven to be so.

For the SEC East I was sure hoping that Georgia Tech would be invited to come back home to the SEC! If not them, then maybe Clemson or Virginia Tech. But Georgia Tech along with the Florida Gators were charter members of the SEC. Besides, I knew the Yellow Jackets would be a big thorn in the side of the Bulldogs! Who wouldn't love that! :)

The Gators use to have a series with Georgia Tech. If. I can remember, when this game is over were 2 very interesting and historically significant games that the Gators had with Georgia Tech. Even though they may have been a long time ago I think younger guys will find it interesting too.

Refs are going to have to step up for GT like they did last week when they played NC.
