I'll be curious to see what Auburn has. Malzahn is a very good coach, but not sure if the talent is quite there w/ LSU yet.

Why does LSU (almost) always get night home games? They specifically WANT to play at night, as they feel it's a home field advantage. Yet, UF continues to get Noon September kickoffs....and we specifically ask NOT to have those early kickoffs?

Malzahn sure did get to the top of the coaching ladder quick.I remember he was the Ark H/S coach who had 3 players that we wanted..Mustang(qb) wr who commited to us but signed with USC and a TE.Now he is a SEC H/C.

Well, I have a USA Today from last Monday and of course they have their Poll posted. Of course the Top 25 Teams are all listed in Big Bold Print. Then in small print they list the other teams receiving votes, all in order. So being the college game nut that I am, I numbered the rest of the bottom tier teams. And just having a little fun in doing the Game Threads of interest. If anyone is curious in the Complete USA Poll with the bottom tier, I did post on the UF UT game thread. :)

And you must not be doing very good if you can't even get mentioned in "also receiving votes" at the bottom of the Poll!

OK, so far not quite as much interest as I thought there would be.

I'm surprised AU is 'ranked' that high. After last season, thats actually quite respectable.

I guarantee the Tigers win this one. ;)

The tv programming obviously drives it. It would be interesting to know how much of a difference being in the central time zone has on it if any. Even though it generally means it's not the prime SEC game, I always loved those 8:00 games on the duece.

I think I read somewhere that Lsu has only lost twice in night games with Miles as HC.(2005)
One being UF in 2009.I hope we don't play them at night even though we do have a winning record in BR.

    Weather Alert!

There's been a lot of Heavy Rain in Louisiana the last couple of days. Up to 4 inches in some areas. Rain expected during the game.

Looks like another year we won't be hearing from our Auburn "friends" over here. Funny how that works. :plain: All the Bammer love must be driving them nuts.
