59 points in less than 3 full quarters lol
I sure hope your right, I think so also but it is a crapshoot with this offense.
UT's defense is bad... their offense may be even worse.
Been watching the Bama game, is their offense that bad?
We didnt score 40 against a bad 1AA team last year.
We almost did - we got 37
Scoring 37 points against this UT team is no great accomplishment. It will be a little more than half of what Oregon will finish with today.
Even our O is a joke to the announcers if they said that.
I didn't expect a "blowout" vs Miami, but it's always frustrating to watch us struggle against a much lower team like Toledo.
We really should blowout Tennessee in the Swamp, but I have a feeling we won't. A 28-14 win wouldn't bother me too much. That's what I would have loved against Miami. A 14-10 type game might say something about the progress of our offense (or lack thereof).
It really would be nice for our offense to just magically turn the corner and have a legit game where they score 30 or even 40 points without the aid of a bunch of turnovers or defensive scores.
I guess that would move us into a solid 4th place in the SEC east behind Clemson, Miami and Oregon.
Tennessee and UK are the two worst teams in the SEC East.
After what I've seen today and taking into consideration their opponent, they will struggle to win two league games.
All they have is a good offensive line, but without weapons, that means little.
It's not out of line to expect us to beat this team next week at home by a considerable margin. If that doesn't happen, I will be concerned.
"So you're saying, we have a chance!"
Why do we allow (like we can stop them) Tennessee to go west and get their a$$e$ kicked year in and year out by some PAC 10 team. They consistently embarrass the SEC with their crappy play. I mean... at least make it close.
This is left over from the Fulmer days and even prior going back a few decades. They can't recruit at home so they recruit out there and play games out there to be able to recruit there.
This constant hammering out there though while being a down program is a bit odd though.
Of all the things to bash UT for, not being afraid to schedule legit OOC opponents out of their home state is not one of them.
Lot of good its doing them xen
I appreciate UT getting destroyed each year by a top OOC team before they play us. It seems to give our players confidence and knocks UT off its early season high horse.
this was tenn's biggest loss since 1910
UT Got Smoked by maybe one of the best offensive squads in CFB.
