He's a Nole Troll
Wonder how he would do in the NFL.
Yeah, they showed a graphic and only 3 of the opponents on their schedule won their respective opening games...
Wow! The announcer just said "I don't know if there has been one school to have so much success in one year as Louisville... With basketball and football..." Is he serious?
I guess he forgot about the 2006 UF Football and BB teams
Why shouldn't they get consideration? Exhibit A...
Ohio - average team
Eastern Kentucky - FCS school
@ Kentucky - lost to WKU, worst team in the SEC
Florida International - gave up 40 to Maryland in the first half
@ Temple - below average team
Rutgers - lost at Fresno St and allowed 52
Central Florida - average team
@ South Florida - gave up 53 in a waxing at home to an FCS school
@ Connecticut - dominated at home 33-18 by an FCS school
Houston - average to below average
Memphis - will be just as awful as always
@ Cincinnati - only legitimate team with a new coaching staff
I think it was 85 Oklahoma won in football runner up in BB
only chance they had was for UK or Rutgers & USF to have great years and now we already know that wont happen. I guess Cincinnati could go undefeated but they also have a terrible schedule besides Northwestern
That's pretty bad...
I do worry about Teddy's arm strength though going forward
Hey that schedule sucks. No getting around that but they can only play who's in front of them.
I didn't say pencil them in but they should still get "consideration". That's why I'm a playoff proponent. I'd have them as 1 of 8 teams if they go undefeated.
You play that kind of schedule you have proved nothing and don't deserve consideration
IMO--they are overrated due to their bowl performance (which we helped them out with). Last season they lost games at home to UConn and got whooped by Syracuse. They probably won't even win out. And if they do, no they won't get consideration, nor should they. The schedule is worse than some of BSU's schedules.
Well, I can see why we lost to them. At least, I can see why any decent team that doesn't show up ready could be in for a tough game. They probably are pretty good.
16/19 over 250 yds and 4 TD's now for Bridgewater in the first half
Which is why bowl games are important. It's all about perception. They go undefeated, all anyone is going to say is... "They beat the Gators", so shouldn't they get a shot???
Who cares it was last year. The media will use it to sell their agenda.
They still embarrassed us in the Sugar Bowl.
That's why the playoff system will result in a few teams from the big conferences getting knocked out early.
why are you bringing up the meaning less sugar bowl game ? Because you are a troll
