Facts are facts. Clemson has beaten LSU and UGA in big nationally televised games. SEC reputation took a big hit. Dabo is using that in recruiting.

Meh, whatevs. The Cocks have owned them of late. Nice win for Clemson. I think the SEC reputation is just fine. I'm thoroughly enjoying the Georgia loss.

    Orange jerseys win.

Could not care less about sec prestige taking a hit, it's overblown, Georgia and everything about Georgia sucks.

There are 120 teams in D1-A. One I root for unreservedly (UF, of course). 118 I root for the outcome that helps UF the most. But for 1, and only 1, I root for them to lose every game, even if UF needs them to win to reach a goal. Some of us refuse to forget 1942, even if we are far too young to have been alive at the time.

Everyone here knows UGA is over rated. And UGA lost a three point game on the road to a top ten team. Let's not be ridiculous about this imact to SEC rep.

I doubt Dabo gets very far with that pitch when he hasn't beaten the instate SEC team in four years. Regardless of the criticisms of Spurrier's recruiting at Florida, the instate talent that either went to Tennessee, Clemson or Georgia in the past is now staying home thanks to the Big Spur. Stephon Gilmore, Alshon Jefferey, Marcus Lattimore, Jadaveon Clowney, Shaq Roland.

I can just see SOS in a recruits home, (put on your Spurrier imitation) "Well if Dabo is so good, why hasn't he beaten South Carolina for the entire time you've been in high school? I'll tell you why, he isn't Steve Spurrier."

I think wingtee is a Vol, at least there used to be a Wingtee who posted on a Vol board, I used to visit when UT mattered...

I think a legendary UT coach came up with the "Winged Tee" formation, some kind of option-like running attack popular in the 50s and 60's..

While watching that Ga/Clem game I had to seriously ask, and I know this will be hard for people that loath Ga, are we as good as Ga or Clemson? I know our defensive unit is, but those team could produce some points. What would happen to us if we got behind two touchdowns against a team(s) like that? I guess we'll find out. Those were two top ten teams, we played a team from conference Q and only put up 26...the running game sets up the pass, but you actually have to pass to get benefit from the pass, right. Maybe this game is too complicated for me.

honestly, no and we might never be that good offensively under Boom unless he backs off and lets the OC call the offense he wants to call. that said, it probably wont matter as our defense will always be too good to get down 2 scores more than 2-3 times a game and losing 2 games a year might not win anything but it keeps you employed and in the top 15.

Florida is better than both of those teams because UF has a defense. Defense wins championships. BTW, who first said that? Was it Bear?

You have to remember both offensive performances were against the keystone cops.

We'll find out won't we, at least versus UGA...

WHen was the last time UGA or Clemson came from 2 TDs behind? Just because they "look" like they could don't mean they can.

I also note, oh ye skeptic of Conference Q matchups, we only put up 26 in our win, but is it fair to look at only one side of the ledger?

Ye, we scored 12 less than Clemson, and 9 less than UGA, but we:

gave up 29 fewer points than Clemson, and 32 fewer than UGA.

Do you just not care about the defensive side of the game?
