Should be fun to watch this one, Ray.

Both these teams are commemorating Schnellenberger too, right?

Miami will win by 100 and everyone will start peeing their pants about how good they look.

Miami is going to drill them. It'll be over by half.

As both teams should honor Howard. If it hadn't been for him UM may not have their football program. I still lived in Miami in the early 80s when he was hired to be the coach. He had a great reputation for his work being on Don Shula's Dolphin teams. Miami had gone through a succession of one poor coach after another in the 70s. And their home attendance in the Orange Bowl (which was probably only about 7 miles from the campus in Coral Gables as compared to about 25 miles from where they play their "home games" now in the Miami Dolphins stadium in Miami Gardens from Coral Gables) was probably even more poor than it is now. For a few years in the 70s UM dropped their basketball program. Many down there at the time thought UM should keep the basketball program and drop the football program instead. He knew all that when he took over at UM but he didn't let that deter him. He worked very hard from day one at UM. He was the one who got their recruiting on the right track in Dade County.

Even in his more senior years he got the football program organized and off the ground at FAU in Boca Raton.

Maybe they should call this game "the Schnellenberger Bowl". :)

Go FAU, I hope they pull the Upset, but I know Miami will slaughter them and Florida goes into week 2 the underdog.

As always, my pleasure. We got a couple more to do. But it's late and I'm tired now.

It's not too often we have a Friday night college football game so this being the first weekend of the new season I think this game may get a lot of interest and attention. Time will tell.

Consider me shocked if we are an underdog to Miami, especially if we win comfortably against Toledo.

Unless we suffer significant injuries to major impact players, no way we'll be underdogs to Miami.

Miami has just almost half of the stadium filled. What a solid home field advantage.

Al Golden also has his trademark parachute shirt, eight sizes too big, on.
