A game and day of "IFs" for the Dolphins if they are to make it to the Playoffs. First IF is they got to win this game. The other IFs is one or more (not sure) teams have to lose. So, we shall see.

Dolphins need either Baltimore loss or San Diego win. KC is playing their subs in the late game.

Miami 7 NY Jets 14 Half.

Dolphins doing their best not to hold up their end of the deal.

Cincinnati leads Baltimore 17-6 at the half.

Sorry to all the Dolphin fans. This may be premature, but the 'fins are choking away their chance. As a Chargers fan, though, I'm happy as a clam right now!

    Jets 17 Dolphins 7 (4:00 left)
    Bengals 27 Baltimare 17 (9:00 left)

and now a Dolphins int. But . . . a penalty marker? Penalty on the 'fins Mike Pouncey. Let's go Super Chargers. Beat the Chiefs!

If these scores hold and the Chargers lose to the Chiefs, then the Steelers sneak in at 8-8. o_O

I know this is a Dolphins thread, but I'm watching each of the games with playoff implications. Ravens face 4th and 10 at midfield and Flacco offers up an interception 30 yards downfield . . . and the Bengals player (Kirkpatrick?) CATCHES it!? What the heck is wrong with these players. At this level, you expect them to be smart enough not to give up 30 yards. There are still 6:30 left, so the game is still in doubt.

Well, gotta give Kirkpatrick his props now, as he just picked Flacco again and took it to the house. Gotta love the NFL.

KC is resting Charles and several others. However with both Miami and Baltimore choking..

I wonder if there is a change of heart from Andy Reid to keep San Diego out of the playoffs.

    Adam Beasley tweets...

As Kim Bokamper told me this week, there will be some awfully nervous people in Dolphinland tonight.

Oh, that's OK. Don't have time to post all the NFL games for threads. So we just try and pick the ones we think will get the most interest and attention, so post away. :)

Yeah, hard to question a pay raise for Flacco, but easy to question a raise of that magnitude. Highest paid players should include Manning, Brees, Brady to name a few. Flacco put up a stinker of a year, too. It's the main thing not to like about the NFL.

Yep, I remember one year in the early 1990's where the Jets only won 2 games and both of them were against the Dolphins. To my recollection anyway.
