Go Cougs. Spent three years in Washington and though Pullman is no place I ever want to be, I met some really great WSU fans. And no offense to Albuquerque, but I'm glad Arizona isn't going back. Not that last year's NM Bowl wasn't fun. Of course, our prize of Shreveport this year isn't anything to write home about. But at least we get BC and the match-up of Williams versus Carey.

True. But I lived through the Mackovic error  and a decade of staying home for the holidays. It's not like Arizona fans haven't endured.

20 years in Colorado, I pull for all of the regional teams (except CU). Go Rams!

Rats, ESPN doesn't have a college football game day today. Thought they might.

Washington State Is Actually Enforcing Its ‘No Bowl Ticket’ File For Angry Fans
Earlier in the college football season, there was a hilariously strange rumor that the Washington State Cougars football program, and specifically Athletic Director Bill “Cows Go” Moos, had been keeping a list of naughty fans and alumni known as the “No Bowl Ticket” file. Basically, because things had been going so poorly for the Cougars over the last decade and the team hadn’t played in a bowl, Moos and Co. were keeping track of all of the people who were emailing and writing nasty things about the program and personnel, because when the time finally came for Wazzou to play in a bowl, those people were sh*t out of luck on tickets.

On Saturday, the Cougars will play Colorado State in the lackluster New Mexico Bowl, but some fans won’t be able to see them play because they have exactly been bowled over by the team’s poor seasons. Regardless of the passion or stupidity of fans, Moos is apparently proudly standing his ground, saying that he “wants people to be proud of what the program is doing.” Yeah, this is the apex of pride.

Will fans not just buy a ticket outside the stadium or on stubhub? I am guessing $5 at game time could get you into this game. By not allowing naughty fans to buy tickets through the school you are probably saving them a lot if money.

    WSU looking impressive so far.

As far as the tickets issue, the AD sounds like a typical punitive controlling type who should never be in a position of making decisions that affect others.

My WSU fans use the verb To Coug, which means mess up a sure thing and/or find creative ways to lose. The NM Bowl was the definition of Couging it!

How WSU ever recruits any decent athletes is beyond me. I happen to like that part of the country a lot but I wouldn't think it would be attractive to a young college kid.
