I thought that Clay Helton was the Trojan OC (and reportedly our OC in waiting).

I'll watch this game to see what helton does, particularly how he sets up nelson alghalor...however i will admit it's going to be strange watching a game that the fanbase partake in wine & cheese during official tv timeouts.

I also think SoCal OC Clay Helton will be the main reason most Gators will be watching this game.

The Gator basketball game starts at 4:30 PM on Sun Sports today so maybe you can switch back and forth during this football game and catch both.

I will be watching this game as well as the bball game, I want to see what Helton does with the Offense. I think our team is as equally talented on Offense for the most part with USC. I want to see the formations and the tempo, and see what kind of running game they have. I know Lee and Agholar are studs but I believe Fulwood and Robinson along with Lane can be just as good in the right Offense.

The formation and tempo are probably going to be totally different then what he will run here (if he gets the job). No way he installed a new offense in the past few weeks. He is running Lane's offense not his own.

It seems like Las Vegas would build a HUGE stadium to get future SB and final four games.....BB and football.

Yeah.. I read an article in the LA times saying basically that they are running Kiffin's offense more uptempo

All things considered the offense looks terrific. At this point Helton has had the reigns two full months now. I'd say that's time enough to put his stamp on things.

Between Fulwood and Robinson plus Taylor and Jones we can run this offense effectively with the talent on hand. Need to find someone who can put their hand on the ground and run a decent drag/skinny post plus add in Cook, Grier Lane et Al and things could get QUITE explosive.

Summary of this game: USC has way better players and FS defense is horrible. Props to Helton for having the team ready to roll after Coach O up and left them.

More uptempo and more BETTER. MUCH better.

A Helton offense is going to look approximal to what we've seen the last two months from USC. Today's USC especially.

I dont know man they are not using tempo at all today. His Memphis offense is a lot different than this. My guess is more Memphis than USC but I could be wron

USC has had every excuse to have a bad season, and yet despite 3 HC changes and a roster crippled by NCAA sanctions they still manage to win 9 games and a bowl.

It just makes me scratch my head even more at this season we just had.
