I usually root for Navy, as my brother is a career officer. (I don't have a dog in the fight since I was in the Air Force.) But after a decade of Navy dominance, I'm really hoping that the Cadets finally win one and restore a shred of balance to the rivalry.

Have Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson done their last SEC broadcast game together? Next year ESPN has the SEC rights with their new contract starting in 2014...so CBS won't have our games anymore, right?

I love this game. I love the "take no prisoners" intensity, followed by the superb sportsmanship when it is over.
Yes, it's the honoring of each other's team after the game that makes this game just way above any other... as well as knowing these men will be going overseas shortly to defend our right to our freedoms, including playing and watching football.
God bless them all, but as my son and daughter-in-law are both Naval Academy grads, GO NAVY! Glad we beat Army!
