Hokies pounding SCum in the rain.
Sent from my iPhone using GatorCountry
,, and we are still the 4th best team in our own state
Was about to post. At least we're not the only ones choking for Homecoming.
Nice crowd, too.
No surprise, really. The canes were overrated. With or without Duke.
both of those teams would prolly pound us
pretty much.. zero confidence at this point the Gators can beat anyone;;;; except themselves
Canes with two big fumbles. Virginia Tech took advantage with 14 points.
Lol man...I have noticed for a long time that you have some real hatred for the Hokies. I also know you are big into the "investing" scene. They must have burned you real bad in the past, curious to know where all that hate comes from lol
I wish the Gator offense could move the ball like VT.
Id like to see the list of posters again that wanted al golden as our next head coach. Another mindless remark perputuated without any substantiation: al golden is an excellent head coach
There are a few on this board that really dislike VT. Can't understand why. We never play them, and they are one of the most benign, boring teams in CFB. Beamer and Bud Foster are good guys who are well respected. Indeed, they are probably closer to Florida in style than any team in the nation.
28-14 at halftime, and the Canes are being booed off the field by their adoring fans...
All 10,000 of them! Lol
The only thing I really have against VT is that they had no business being in the 1999 BCS CG and they got in anyway. Everyone knew that putting a Big Least team, undefeated or not, into that game was essentially giving FSU a free national championship that they hardly had to even prep for. But, hey, Michael Vick was, like, some sort of novelty that year, so they got free admission. Never mind that Nebraska was the best team in the country that season.
It took me a while to get over that.
Miami was also in the Big Least, and they won MNCs while in there...
Besides, what would you expect Beamer to say? "Gee, thanks for the honor, but we really don't belong in there. We'll be happy to play a lesser team so that nebraska can play the Noles once again.."
FSU deserved to win, but the Hokies gave them a game, and Vick was awesome...
Lol damn man, it's been 14 years!!! This cracks me up. I'm a Gator fan but from VA and I like to see home state schools, and VA bred players at other schools, play well. It just cracks me up when I see people on here hate on the Hokies
Are there enough of them there to be audible?
