Georgia Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley (3) runs upfield against Florida during the second half
Florida Gators linebacker Antonio Morrison (3) leaves the field after losing to Georgia 23-20
Georgia Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley (3) is tackled by Florida Gators linebacker Neiron Ball (11) and teammate Antonio Morrison (3) during the second half
Cornerback recruit Quincy Wilson (6-2, 195, Fort Lauderdale, FL University School): “ All this losing is over with when we hit campus,” Wilson said via twitter.
Offensive lineman recruit David Sharpe (6-8, 275, Jacksonville, FL Providence School): “It was a great game and effort by Florida, they had me hyped,” Sharpe said.
Receiver recruit Rashad Canty (6-4, 210, Riverdale, GA): “They came to play in the second half but they just didn’t finish the drill,” Canty said. “They need to extend the field on offense more often because of the huge momentum change it brings. They need a true receiver threat that brings their offense to the next level because incorporating more successful passing will open up the running game for Kelvin Taylor.”
2015 offensive lineman recruit Tristen Hoge (6-4, 285, Pocatello, ID Highland): “I liked their second half effort but they just need to put the four quarters together,” Hoge said
Linebacker recruit Dwight Williams (6-1, 212, Gardena, CA Junipero Serra): “It was a great game and got really really feisty,” Williams said. “Florida played good in the second half but came up short on too many personal fouls.”
Receiver 2014 recruit Ermon Lane (6-2, 172, Homestead, FL): “No worries,” Lane said via Twitter
Safety recruit Jamal Adams (6-0, 199, Lewisville, TX Hebron): “Now that’s big time football right there,” Adams said via twitter.
Way to go Jag. All these guys seem solid to me.
Is sharp already in the fold?
It's between UGA and Florida. Stay tuned.
The weakness of Sharpe is that he's not a very good pass blocker but more of a run blocker from everything I've read about him. I'm sure a good offensive line coach could solve that though as player development is so vital.
