I guess you're not allowed to defend the pass anymore in the NFL. If I were the Dolphins I would just chuck it downfield every play and see if the refs are consistent.

In Sturgis defense, it was around 57 yards. I believe it was his first miss of the year. Dolphins miss an opportunity with the Pats losing today.

The Fins are definitely a team on the rise and should make the playoffs but are probably a year away from really being in the elite of the NFL.

Fins are flawed. They never addressed the oline which was a huge mistake by Ireland. They cAnt run the footbAll and tannehill is taking a beating. They might make the playoffs, might but aren't a serious threat.

If we address the Oline issue in the off season there is a good chance they could be a contender for everything next year. Defense is real good. WR are really good. QB is very good. Kicker is VERY good. Staff is very good...but they cant run the ball right now.

Regardless there are a lot of wins on there schedule this season. A playoff trip is VERY possible. I'll be happy with that.

By the way. Caleb has been perfect. That 57 yarder was his first miss in 11 tries.

Caleb had no chance on that last kick. If he'd kicked it straight, it would have been blocked. I think he got a finger on it anyway.

Don't blame Sturgis for missing the 57-yarder. He actually had enough distance, but just a little wide. What I found a little strange was downing the ball after the 4th down miracle big play. There was still about 1:00 left on the clock when Miami lined up to down the ball, and plenty of time on the play clock. Why not call a play at the line instead of wasting a down? Instead, they waste the down, take a sake on 2nd down, then the drop on 3rd down, leaving Caleb to hit a 57-yarder to tie.

Young mistake by RT. You can't take a sack in that spot. Thus the longer kick. This team will mature.
