If Meyer had these refs at UF he would probably still be here. It must be nice.

If Baylor doesn't take their foot off the gas after the half they might have gotten 1000 yards of total offense

Meyer is 18-0 at OSU. What's the record for the longest unbeaten streak by a new coach? Does Terry Bowden hold the record?

It's out there that Meyer was almost ready to send Guiton into the game after Miller's second fumble. I can think of a quarterback Meyer once coached who never put him in a position of thinking about that, but he wasn't as good as Miller, according to Meyer. Guiton should be starting anyway. He saved Meyer a trip to the ER after the Purdue game last year and delivered big in relief of Miller earlier this year.

After reading this thread and the parallel thread about putting on the colors of a team Florida has never beaten, I decided to find a Buckeye fan site and see it there was any discussion of Florida. At BuckeyeSports.com I went through about six pages of thread titles and not one about the Gators.

I find this phenomenon fascinating. Florida and OSU have only met twice in their histories and Florida won both times. The first time the Gators not only won but humiliated them. And yet it's the fans of the winner who are obsessed with the loser. Normally it's the other way around. Normally fans of the losing team long to see the winner lose. Until they sunk into oblivion I always rooted against Nebraska and took joy in them losing. On the other hand, I never give Oklahoma a second thought.

I know the UM tie-in is probably a lot of it, but many on here say they hated OSU from before UM went there. I understand disliking all Yankee teams. I grew up in the south disliking OSU, Michigan, Penn State, and Notre Dame. But to single out one of them I don't understand. Even more baffling is the idea to support Michigan, a team the Gators have never beaten and who actively lobbied for Florida to not be in the 2006 BCS game.

If it's mostly UM would you be as obsessed if he were coaching Oregon or Texas? What if UM was coaching Michigan? I just don't get it.

It's because they're also horridly overrated.

And their win streak is saved by a cake puff schedule and the refs (literally the same exact opposite as us with a hard schedule and refs sticking it to us every game)

I was suprised at how vulnerable their defense looked. I thought they were better than that. Curtis Grant was supposed to be a stud and Ryan Shazier as well.

I know that a certain element among the Gator population just hates Urban and will hate him no matter which team he coaches.

Hate is too strong a word. But, yes, I look forward to the day when a bad loss makes Meyer quit on the Buckeyes the exact same way he quit on us.
