maryland would probably be #13 in the SEC, slightly ahead of kentucky and below miss state.

They are a good team with a few weaknesses. Clemson is the better team at home.

Well, won't waste time posting any more game threads with Maryland playing in them this year.

The idiot talking heads who put SOW on "upset alert" for this game should wear the cone of shame on air for a week.

Unlike UF, FSU isn't afraid to throw the ball downfield and score more than 31 points in a game. They trust their skill players to make plays on offense, while our coaches show little or no confidence in our playmakers.

Why do you continue to rag on the Gators? Shouldn't you be posting this on Warchant?

You can't be a Gator fan and continue incessant criticism.

That was a big reason I posted a game thread on this. "Experts" put this game on upset alert.

You've just committed the 'no true Scottsman' fallacy. You don't get to decide who a true gator fan is or isn't. He can just as easily say you're not a true gator fan since you put up with mediocre offense and poor coaching, and he'd be just as right as you are.

I understand stomping on an opponent's throat and putting him away, but when you're up 42 - 0 over a team with zero fight left in them and you're still passing the ball? I didn't expect this to really even be close but 63 - 0 and rubbing their faces in it?

I lost a lot of respect for Jimbo Fisher today, and I don't want to hear any nolies starting on about Steve Spurrier. Even SOS called off the dogs up 30+ points and almost exclusively ran the ball unless the opposing teams closed the score.

It was a disgusting display of a HBC padding his new freshman QB's stats on an extremely overmatched opponent and that's what it was, plain and simple.

It will be interesting to see when fsu has to play a team full of 4 and 5 star developed talent that can play and run with them for 60 minutes.

It's pretty simple. If Winston keeps up his current stats, he is probably leaving for the NFL after next year. Fisher has to try and keep Coker engaged enough that he is willing to wait for his senior year to start. Allowing Coker to pass and run the offense shows that Fisher is still committed to Coker future at FSU in two years rather than looking at him as a career backup. Not to mention, it never hurts to make sure your back up QB has some meaningful reps in case the starter gets hurt.
