I wonder if the SEC contract with ESPN requires oneThursday night game?

From a season ticket holder and other fan's perspective, it must be terrible

...that said, it gives 2 below average SEC programs to showcase themselves in front of a bigger audience to recruits who might otherwise never consider them

You are exactly right. Having at least one SEC game on ESPN on a Thursday night is a good idea. Nationwide exposure and not just regional coupled with usually no other games to view is great for both programs and the SEC .

The big boys in the SEC... Bama, AU, LsU, UF, Uga, UT.. and probably TaMu & Mizzou.. Maybe Ole Miss would never play a home game on a Thursday night like so many teams in the ACC. The fan bases would never travel for a Thursday night game. So all you have left is an occasional USCe at the start of the year and the lower level schools.

Ryan Timmons looked really good on that play.....I really wanted to see us get him, I think he is going to be a special player for Kentucky, I was most disappointed losing out on him.....
