UT marching down the field...Out of the game
UT win would be nice
Here we go again with penalties for tackling.
I think SC leads the nation in targeting call. SEC refs are horrible.
FG...Vols nice start
Terrible play by VOL receiver. You have to make that play
2nd Qtr 11:00
South Carolina 7
2nd Qtr 6:00
Im glad we played UT early in the year....I think we would lose to this team now.
Anyone else here wondering how UT will find a way to lose this time?
There're so any options when one is a Vol.
Sorry, wrong game thread.
3rd Qtr 2:50
With UT win and maybe a Vandy win.....WOW
poor spurrier. got his weak schedule and still can't do squat. at least they will throw a parade for him for only losing 3-4 games.
South Carolina 21
Vols got a FG 2with 3 seconds to go!
spurrier does this at least once every year. completely abandons his rb's in a close game with the lead and sc ends up losing. auburn 2011, lsu 2012, tennessee 2013. and this was the most despicable example.
If UT doesn't fumble at the goal line against UGA, they are in second place in the SEC East. And this is a UT team with ZERO talent. It's all due to coaching by UT's new staff. Impressive.
I think Spurrier abandoned the run in part because 2 OL were hurt, including a very good run blocker. Shaw had a bad day as did a few of their receivers. I've never seen a QB get hurt as much as Shaw. Like UF last year, UT is playing teams, outside of Oregon, at the right time. SC thought they were better than they were after Arky, where everything went their way. Luck took a nasty turn today, thanks in part to that stupid targeting ejection at the beginning of the game.
SC probably still leads the conference in least penalized opponents.
Jones sure makes Dooley look like an elementary coach. The Vols actually had quite a bit of talent last year, especially on offense.
