    Are you being sarcastic?

You have to be. Are people really saying that one should just take a beating like a man?

What in your opinion was "easy" about it?

He had to sustain a broken nose and multiple times of having his head hit against the concrete.
He had to generate eye witnesses that account for the positioning of Martin over him.
He had to make sure that he didn't leave any indication of him having attacked Martin on Martin's body, given that they had a physical confrontation this seems especially hard to do.
He had to pass all the tests of scrutiny that were presented to him in making sure his story helped up to rational criticism (even the detective acknowledged that he tried to trick him into giving up something incriminating, but Zimmerman didn't)
He had to withstand the emotional appeal (since the prosecution had nothing else) to society and to the jury
And he's going to have to withstand the ignorance of people who don't understand what a trial by jury means.
And he's also going to have to withstand the ignorant people who think this is about race, but that's something that a lot of people are going to have to endure.

I don't see what part of what Zimmerman went through that could reasonably be considered "easy."

    Go GATORS!

I'm telling you....GZ, his wife and his entire family will not be safe until they get out of the country...or at least go somewhere in the midwest or something. He will live the rest of his life worrying someone's going to kill him or someone in his family - family more worrisome as a "how does it feel" tactic.

He was found not guilty, so I'm missing where exactly the FBI can ask that his gun not be returned to him.

Wasn't easy for Zimmerman. Angela Corey, Bernie and the rest of the stooges tried to make it more difficult than legally possible. Don't you remember the withholding of exculpatory evidence?

I'm not saying that he shouldn't get his gun back, or that he doesn't deserve to. He definitely does.

I'm just saying that it's probably way on down the list of his worries right now.

I seriously doubt that he's going to put himself in a position where he might even remotely need it until all of this chit simmers down... which might be a while...
