Not sure I get all the Chick Filet love. It's OK, but there are places that do chicken better. I'm partial to Raising Cane's, but not sure if they are in Florida yet. My personal favorite is a local to Tucson called Eegees. The sandwiches are OK, but the fries are the best. An the Eegee (slushee type drink) is great on a hot summer day, and a perfect mixer. Get a strawberry Eegee, add tequila and some salt, and instant margarita.

thought I was the only one who rates Chik fil a well below satisfactory, not a fan, my wife likes them but imo they don't even match the Wendy's spicey chkn sandwich

Guess I'll be the guy who vouches for Taco Bell. It's the only fast food I eat.

The Only thing I get at Taco Bell is the burrito supreme.

I thied those over hyped fries, and whatever "Mexican Spices" they use would have made Pancho Villa turn and head for the hills!

Horrible!, with an even worse aftertaste!

When I visit my sister in Utah our first stop is In-N-Out Burgers. Wendy's makes a better spicy chicken than Chik-Fil-A but their waffle fries are to die for. When I'm in the mood for a Mexican bowl I'll hit up Chipotle.

Talking about snacking and driving, here's a hoot for everyone.

Back in the late 70's, I was Cooking Instructor for all of the Sonny's Bar-B-Q in Broward County. I was getting off after lunch one day, and a big Pontiac Bonneville pulled up to our drive-thru window, and a huge black woman ordered a Rib Sandwich, fries and a Coke.

Me, being from Philly and that area, just took some big ribs, sliced the meat off the bone, and put it on a steamed bun with BBQ sauce, wrapped it up and gave it to her. I then got ready to leave.

About 3 minutes later, that Pontiac screeched up to the window and honked her horn. When I went to the window, she handed the sandwich back and said " This Rib Sammich ain't got no bones!"

So, I, bewildered, made her a Rib sandwich, bone-in, thinking how one eats a sandwich like that.

She left, and so did I. A couple minutes later, on I-95, in traffic, I saw, and pulled almost alongside that car! I just HAD to see how she was gonna eat that thing!

She held the bun, gnawed the meat off one side of a rib, then used her tongue and bottom lip to flip the bone, then gnawed the other side...... Then,

Her power window came down, and....PTOOH! the finished rib bone flew about 10 feet out of her window!

Some good old fashioned drive and dine!

A decent Barbecue in Tampa is Jimbo's!

Great Ribs, and some super bowls of pickles and pickled green tomatoes!

Chick filA, Taco Hell, Steak and Shake, Captain D's and Popeye's are my favorites. I tend to consider fast food as places that offer a drive thru so will leave outpost sandwich places.

In my area, BK is consistently awful. When did Wendy's switch from a chicken breast to a large mcnugget on their spicy chicken sandwich?

What I REALLY wish we had in this area is...

    White Castle and....

    Jack in the Box

I could easily scarf down a Sack of what we used to call "Murderburgers", but just as easily do one or two "Jumbo Jacks"
