I have a pretty good idea how it's going to go.

Chuck Heston and Yul Brynner - wherever they may be now - are weeping.

What of Aronofsky's films are you a fan of? Which is your favorite?

Requiem for a dream was tragically great. I literally sat in silence when that movie ended. With kind of a "goddamn" look on my face. But I know I'll never see the movie in the op. crowe and bale..I might as well doll out $30 for someone to kick me in the sack.

Interesting, I was just listening to the theme song last night and thinking what a great piece of music it was. Had no clue they were remaking the movie.

Why pay when you can get paid? You could have a future in show business. :D

They are both fine directors, but very different. Probably better that neither is religious, but it seems appropriate that the director is Jewish.

The casting feels a bit odd, but nothing like The Butler. John Cusack as Nixon? Robin Williams as Eisenhower? Alan Rickman as Reagan? Jane Fonda as Nancy? WTF?

Jane Fonda as Nancy is odd. The Butler seems like a odd film in general don't think I will see it. By odd, I mean oddly put together or something.

IMO, it would be hard to do the story better than "The Prince of Egypt" did.

In case its not entirely clear here we are talking about two different films. Some of the posts and the title don't make that distinction very well.

Moses doesn't have to be larger than life. Aaron handled the PR part of the job.
