    I hear you, Tilly.

I can think of lots of reasons that it might not work... I just get a bit frustrated when it feels like we are clueless because we are British. The fanbase here may talk a bit funny but it's pretty stout for the most part and knowledgable about the game. Enticing the casual fan isn't necessary at the moment which is fine by me.

Yeah...It would seem the core fanbase could be strong....based on the fact that they love the NFL game even without it being on their continent at the moment.

    Issues I see....

--I think they would have to expand....most teams arent moving despite rumors to the contrary, and I have to think LA is next....though they dont deserve a team. This waters down the product...there is already too few QBs to actually lead NFL rosters.

--Free agency. Relocating families, children. (Seriously, Americans wont want their kids in European schools...for cultural/historical reasons if nothing else.) Money/Currency exchanges, tax issues etc...

--Travel. Imagine the Seahawks playing in London, and then trying to get back for a home game the following week. Monday night games in London would put even an east coast team back home on Wednesday...not enough time to prepare for the next game.

    These are the deeper issues.

I agree with you that fan support is not one of them. There are probably enough ex-pats in London/surrounding to put a big dent in Webley's capacity. Even if the locals didnt warm up right away.

The Jags are perfect for London.

They are already used to being pounded...

Dude, where does everybody else live? Any other city not named San Diego has no room to talk here

Ironically San Diego is possibly the most likely to lose their team. Probably to LA. They have a terrible stadium situation compared to newer venues.

They also havent got a history of landing big free agents themselves.

Ouch...is it too soon. Seriously though, who would want to be associated with this mess.

Wasn't implying anything of the sort, just agreeing that free agents will be very hard to get to a team in London, it was next to impossible for the Expos to get free agents and they were in the same time zone.

Raptors and Blue Jays have a similar issue.

It will take a special GM.
