What I like is by virtue of UF moving up one spot in their current rankings, OSU ends up droping one spot behind UF ;)

So UF is the 5th ranked SEC school for 2014?

Hard to believe that 4 other SEC teams are ahead of UF.

Well if we had signed 37 players like UT did, we'd be ranked #1

I find it very impressive in light of last season. The negative recruiting against us must have been overwhelming.

This is true and I was going to post the fact that UT is doing so well because of mainly quantity.
If we get Adoree Jackson, we'll probably move into the top 5.

Under the circumstances, this class was amazing and one of the better jobs of recruiting I have seen. The coaches addressed the biggest needs and gave the team a lot more depth, especially on the offensive line and at quarterback. The more I read about this class, the more excited I get. As far as the big names that we missed and the guys that flipped on us, I think they are going to miss out on some great seasons coming up with the best fans in the college football. However, I am going to keep my fingers crossed for Jackson!

Great post. Completely agree. And Adoree would really cap it off adding an explosive play maker to the mix.

scam, completely with you. This is truly an unreal class, most teams would love to be able to do this every year; and the fact that the coaches did this after a 4-8 season is incredible. Love that we stocked up on guys for the trenches, by far our biggest need. Wish we got Prince, but he was just the cherry on top of a great group of 0-line that we pulled in.

Actually UT's quantity is not helping its ranking. The Gators have 24 commits (on rivals only 20 really count) and as you accumulate more it is harder to maintain the average player ranking. What Butch has done is pretty impressive. If you guys pick up AJ that will be a nice boost in your rankings, though.

Jones has pulled in a great class for the Vols. Very impressive.

I just think its time to let the healing begin...

Cook, Lane, Prince...the abomination that was 2013...all the negativity on these boards...

F#$k it, its time to celebrate...we are #3 in the country in basketball and the staff crushed it on the recruiting trail...I don't care what Bama, LSU or FSU is doing right now or who they got...WE ARE THE FLORIDA GATORS...and on our worst day I can still point to the three degrees I have on my wall and say I wouldn't trade them and my UF experience for anything in the world...

Yeah, Tennessee has pulled just as much quality as we have. Or at least very close.

Following our season last year, makes this recruiting season that much more impressive. Winning a NC and then having a great year seems almost expected. Who else could have a 4-8 train wreck and still pull this kind of quality?

Tenn. will be back in about 3/4 years. Jones is a good coach and L. Kitten and DD killed the Vols.

Agree. And while our schedule is tough enough, SEC football is better with a strong Vol program.
