I'd like to thank ESPN for a wonderful broadcast.
"Cut to fans cheering"
0.5 ms later......
"Ok cut away from fans quickly!"
10 seconds into a commercial.....whoops we are back playing.....
Also game endings are overrated, nobody wants to see that
Just because we are up -- doesn't mean we don't want to see the end --
Should have been more clear I was being sarcastic
ESPN sucked. That joke of an announcer had no clue about our team. Just kept talking out of his a**. It was horrible.
Not sure if serious or pissed off about the end of the game cut-outs.
I think they did a fine job for the most part, Brock Huard is one of the more tolerable play by play guys.
Not sure what tec68 is so mad about. Didn't hear anything too egregious.
I'm ticked about the end of game cut outs. What if it had been a close game?
Then they probably wouldn't have done it. I didn't see it, as I was at the game.
I get the feeling they couldn't control it. It was technical difficulties. They lost picture like 4 times.
I thought Huard was the color guy.
If anyone wants an example of why he was piss poor; he made every incompletion sound like a dropped ball that if they had just caught a few they would be right in the game. Never, once; not once gave any credit to great pass defense. There were some drops, but there were a lot more passes that were just beautifully defended. When the defender knocks the ball out of the receivers hands it is not a drop by most definitions.
They should have shown Harrison's ejection event a bit more and discussed it. I thought the official was in Harrison's face--unjustifably and was leaning on him. I know you aren't supposed to touch an official, but they have no right to invade a player's space either--without damn good justification. Like if he has to be resrained.
They said it was technical problems. It happens.
My bad. I thought you guys were saying they were cutting in and out for other games.
Huard is brutal.
But why did the technical difficulties happen during the goal line stand?
That was very odd. I couldn't figure out why it was throwing me off? I wasn't sure if it was because they cut away so quickly or because they were playing sound? Something was definitely strange about it.
The highlights package of "drops" by Arkansas they put together was very entertaining, 5 plays, 3 beautifully defended by Florida and 2 drops.
The announcer kept say "that's blah blah blah BROCK." Which sounded like he was saying "brah" all night.
