Interesting. He's not rated yet on 247, but, when that does happen, I wonder if it will bump our class up any from 12th? Could this make us a Top 10 class?
Especially at OL, where a year of strength gain and experience, as well as the benefit of spring college participation could make a difference. As far as age, he's 18 and will turn 19 in November according to the article, so, it's time to leave high school behind if he's academically ready.
in addition, both On3 and 247 were hinting that the USC transfer Zandamela was quite interested in transferring to Uf but the coaches told him we have no room. Now we need to make room for a project OL coming in earlier than expected. Not sure I like the decision vs maybe taking a highly rated OL in the same class who may contribute sooner. But O line is hard to tell and I am no expert.
