What will the brotherhood do now? What will / should 0 do?

and for those thinking that we should not do anything wrt Syria and those that think we do not need the keystone xl to get a secure source of oil from Canada, check the price of oil today just based on the threat of something blowing up in Egypt. Up over $102 so expect to see $4 gas again soon.

Not sure which is worse - that it's happening or that most of us are unsurprised it's happening.

For any conflict in the middle east:

    - To the winning side: ship them all of our confiscated hardcore drugs and encourage them to celebrate
    - To the losing side: ship them all of our confiscated illegally owned weapons and encourage them to fight back

Evaluate the winning/losing side each month and make changes as necessary.

    Go GATORS!

The sweet smell of Arab Spring.

It's remarkable that the democrats and this Obama junta are wrong about every major issue.... Yet they face no substantive rebuke.

    Bizarro World.

I am amused how pretty much zero coverage of this story has gone into how Morsi is pretty much Obama's creature -- from his decision to support ousting Mubarek on. Morsi is his "I looked into his eyes and saw his soul" guy, if anyone is.

Western governments are in a tough spot, this is a democratically elected government, however distasteful. So far I think they are doing the right thing, just stay clear, let the Egyptians sort it out. Mubarak was another story, we created that monster, it was our responsibility to fix it - Morsi is self inflicted by the Egyptians, they can figure it out.

This. Our brilliant foreign policy statesman, Prince Barry, helped push Mubarak out. Our Middle East ally, Egypt, is a much more stable nation now than it ever was under Mubarak.:no::no:

I have to admit, when the Egyptian people realized they had a dud, they didn't waste time getting him out. Look at how long our dud has been occupying the White House.

Once they get through over there, could we borrow them for a while ?

Plenty of work to be done over here.

Obama's good terrorist buddy Morsi gets tossed out by the Egyptian people today, the same guy Obama backed to take over.

Hopefully Egypt will get someone in power who will take a less inflammatory roll now towards Isreal and bring some sort of stability to the region.

And Obama? he's managed to p*ss off the Egyptian people because they all blame him for Morsi getting into power.

Yet another country that hates us that we're giving billions in support to.

I really don't understand the thinking that this is Obama's fault. Morsi was elected president by the Egyptian people in a democratic election. The election ended months of turmoil in Egypt and temporarily stabilized a country that was rupturing at the seams a year ago. Therefore, the USA being the bastion of democracy, why would Obama not back him at the time. I mean, the USA's goal for decades has been "spreading democracy" throughout the world (or using it as an excuse for more clandestine activity behind the scenes). Of course our president would back a democratically elected president. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the Egyptians have thrown out Morsi and the "Muslim brotherhood". Even quasi fanatics are bad and will over time slowly install a form of sharia. That being said, the people of Egypt realized what was happening and threw the bum out. But blaming any of this on Obama is just LAME!!!

If you're a pub on THFSG Obama is the anti-Christ who could eliminate the IRS, welfare and reduce unemployment to zero and the resident zealots would find fault because his middle name is Hussein. Just how it works here. But it wasn't dissimilar during the last couple years of the reign of W.

Situation is disturbing to stay the least, but interesting that the military we award a billion plus dollars annually is purging government of the Muslim Brotherhood. It could get ugly there.

My understanding is the coup was to oust a government that was too hard line Muslim for one more moderate. Am I misunderstanding, cause lord knows these things are usually layered. Probably a good thing in the long run if so.

So . . . who do we send the 100 Abrams', F-16's, and multiple billions to now ?

I know, just go ahead and send 'em and let them sort it out.

Hey, we can trust whoever it is.
