The locations he's gone are largely related to extradition clauses and loopholes, so not really.

Now I have difficulty believing that even you believe what you posted there.

These vague one-off dismissals are pretty telling, Dave.

Well those and the fantastical alternative methods for blowing the whistle domestically while preventing our enemies from getting the same info.

It continually amaze me that you can make such a statement, then, a couple of pages later insist that you have yet to comment on anything of any substance regarding the issue.

I mean really? Do you Ben read what you post?

    Wow.... Just wow.

Are you even quoting the right things now? I have no idea what you're talking about here.

I've made my point pretty clear: there was only one safe method for Snowden to get this information out:

    1. Leave the country. This gets him out from the umbrella and prevents ease of capture.

    2. Talk to foreign media.

Now, I'm sure you consider your "high profile lawyer giving Congress a stern talking to" a post of "substance," but you'll forgive me for doing nothing but laugh at its naivety.

Indeed they are. Likely responses to an argument with a pigeon.

Yes, be ause that's EXACTLY what I said, right? Hyperbole much?

I'm done. Time for you to strut about the chess board as if you won the argument. Have fun.

I do like the pigeon analogy that's trotted out every time one wishes to defer making an actual argument, though. You should stick with that. It's a winner.

If we have a terror attack and lose thousands of lives, the same one's who think Snow did right will ask what did the government do to stop the attack.

The NSA has been intercepting calls in and out of the nation for years. If you have nothing to hide, it means little if they listen.

You never let other nations know anything concerning national security.

But is does discredit him as a conscientous objector to government intrusiveness. He wanted the attention without the loss of liberty as a consequence. So live it up in Moscow, Ed! I hear the weather isn't too bad at least a couple of months out of the year.

How do you know he isn't doing this with Obama's tacit approval?

Will Putin let him out of Russia? Highly unlikely until he coughs up some info.

I don't he will want to leave. Whether he provides any intelligence to the Russians or not it will be assumed that he did. Life in Moscow does at least beat life at SuperMax with Robert Hansen.

Russia is the best place for him . He needs to start learning the Russian Language . Bring his Girlfriend over and get her pregnant, make a Ruski Anchor Baby .

In US exile , Solzhenitsyn and his Wife had three Children .

Solzhenitsyn went to Vermont , a Small Town where some ex-CIA retirees were , and they built him a fortified , barbed wired , fenced compound-home . The reported fences around Solzhenitsyn's home in Vermont were 15 ft high , all with electric security alarms .

The US never demanded that Solzhenistyn give up his Russian citizenship .

Snowden needs to do the same . Ask for asylum and to be placed in an ex-KGB small town in the forrested foothills East of the Urals , with his own Dacha , far , far from any possibility of the CIA trying to kidnap him and "bring him to justice" .

This guy has more courage than 99% of the Global Population . It's proven that under peer pressure , 90% will break and go along with the crowd . He's being accused of treason by Feinstein and McCain , the same people who want amnesty for Illegal Alien Criminal Lawbreakers , while at the same time lobbying to take your Self Defense Tools away . Also , if what he did was real , he just gave up a life of luxury to be a fugitive for life . 200K a year is nothing compared to what Feinstein and her Husband make for stabbing tens of millions of People in their backs .

Hypocrites , like: Obama , Feinstein , Pelosi , Schumer , and McCain don't give a crap what comes across our Southern border: Illegal Aliens , Terrorists , Bombs (even possible Nuclear) , Drugs , Diseases , etc , nor do they care what leaves America: Money , Natural Resources , Technology , National Secrets , Military Secrets and Technology to our Enemies .

The argument concerning illegal immigration is red herring. If he felt his actions were righteous he should have stayed and fought whatever charges were brought and defended himself. There is no defense for going to Russia except as an escape. It is totally inconsistent with his supposedly moral outrage.
