Chip Bennett @QBcoach1 33m
I ain't making it up #GATOR COMMIT DE Justus Reed w 5 sacks and a safety at half.
Albemarle not used to getting it handed to them like this. Down 47-0 @ half. Will Grier (Davidson Day) 6 passing TDs so far
Jalen Tabor is playing on ESPN but didnt make a thread because ever since that opening interview I have though he was going to Maryland
I still feel good about Jalen
long way to signing day fro Scott and Campbell
It could happen but he didnt visit this off season and there is this guy named locksley
I know Grier has the small school questions but he is carving up a good Albemarle team right now that was 13-2 last year.
Florida HS Football @FlaHSFootball 1m
Sad news out of #PalmBeachCounty...the referee who had the heart attack during the Olympic Heights-Wellington game has passed away.
Andrew Spivey @AndrewSpiveyGC 3m
#Florida commit Will Grier now has 8 touchdowns on the night.
Not sure where to put these. Guess this is the defacto HS football thread for tonight?
Manatee's DBs did pretty good against Campbell and Scott 38-7. Scott had some nice KO returns though just never broke a real big one.
George Campbell @GeorgeCampbell0 4m
Worst game I could possibly play but it's straight i have to brush it off and bounce back next... This was preseason got my wrinkles out
Reed has that Gator Swag now, and Campbell is feeling the effects of passing on it... for now...
As for Grier, sheesh.
the team he played had to be terrible I dont care what their record was last year.
They're not a powerhouse by any means but 8 td's is 8 td's. Didn't see the game but supposedly it was a bunch of check downs to the backs who ran wild. He also had a couple of picks and ran from the pressure all night.
He won't play another team with half the tallent Manatee has unless they go very deep in the playoffs. They will be alright.
Reed committed to UF and woke up the next day with SEC strength. Campbell committed to Michigan and woke up with Big 10 speed.
Campbell has terrible hands, plain and simple. 5* ATH, 4* WR. 4 drops and two fumbles.
meh, he had a bad game, it happens. He's obviously better than his performance last night but it was untimely. Whole season to go before we judge it.
I'd take an Ermon Lane over a raw prospect like Campbell any day. Or to be class-appropriate, a Da'Vante Philips.
I'm just saying I've heard so much about how bad his hands were and I saw it for myself yesterday after watching the whole game. He couldn't catch anything. I never said he wasn't a good player, but I'd definitely take Scott over him right now
