Muschamp confirms http://j.mp/19133bT
Yeah, I just saw it on my Facebook page on Gatorzone.com.
Several posts in the other thread already confirming. Gatorzone officially announcing it.
I feel for DE. He will be missed. Can't imagine his pain, having a great year and then this. As much as fans are disappointed it's got to be hard on him with all the work and time put forth. Wish him quick and complete healing and will root for him in pros.
I'll miss his motor. I feel so bad for him because this could destroy his draft stock. That's both ACLs in a span of less than two years.
I hope he comes back stronger than ever and turns into the Sundays monster we all know he can be.
If he can keep that first step, I can see him playing outside and having a career like Dwight Freeney.
he can rehab and get ready for the nfl combine.
Thanks Dominique. You gave the Orange and Blue your all. We will Missyou on the field and hope you recover quickly. I feel for the young man. This sucks for him and Jeff.
He really stepped up his game to another level this year. It's a shame.
He was an absolute monster on the line. Far and away the best player on our team and to date had been the most dominant lineman in NCAA. I hate this for our team and him. Thank you Easley for being a gator. You were truly one of a kind.
Good Luck to Chuckie
He mentioned that he wants to go back up north? Maybe the Jets, Pats, or Steelers
Practice, man...we're talkin' 'bout PRACTICE...
Thanks for everything Dom.....hope the surgery goes well!
Sucks balls.... Loved watching him play. Loved his aggressiveness.
with all these injuries, should uf's strength & conditioning program be re-evaluated? it seems that UF has more injuries than other schools, especially with the linemen.
Best of luck Dominique.......you were a man among boys when you blasted through the opponents line! We will miss your motor and your spirit! Get well fast and don't let the bad luck get you down!
Dwigth Freeney? Not a chance in hell. Easley is a great 3 tech. He's not a DE or OLB.
Dude, stop that noise. Meyer's tenure had a ton of injuries too and the S&C program under him was building Barbie dolls.
The only argument that supports a correlation between non-contact ligament tears and the S&C program is perhaps that the increased size is too much for the ligaments to bear. However, that's pretty attenuated, in my opinion.
I got blasted for this earlier today. Everyone said it was simply bad luck with the exponential rate in injuries.
I totally agree with you, though. I also don't like the fact our coaching staff puts skilled guys in unnecessary risky situations (Purifoy on kickoff returns, now injured twice this way, etc)
Board just isn't ready to be objective about this subject IMO.
