got to high of 40. had a dusting (that 'powdered sugar' look, lol) early morning, but it's since melted. mostly overcast, off and on sun. and snow flurries, lol.

one lone daffodil blooming. oddly, it's not from my flower beds. it's a straggler in the middle of the lawn. i'm guessing we can thank the squirrel population, lol

a very chilly (and below what forecasters said, go figure, lol) 19 degrees currently. a high of 49 supposedly today. but a rebound into the very do-able 60's at least for the next 10 days.

40 here in Irvine, went to bed by myself and woke up with one Grand on either side :) Nine year old made bittermilk biscuits for breakfast the 6 year old is still sleeping, off to the Florida Museum of Natural History mind morning then dropping the Grands off with another set of Grand parents :) A grand time has been enjoyed by all!

Love Sully's kids beating the #1 Noles 2 in a row too bad the baseball brawl (few if any real swings) was the headline and not an after thought.

Eerily quiet here in Irvine, dropped the Grands in Gville with another set of Grandparents yesterday after lunch at Carrabbas and a 2+ hour visit to the Museum of Natural History. Nice to have a quiet day to recover but missing them like crazy.

UCLA, one of the most storied names in the annals of NCAA Basketball. Tonight they are GATOR BAIT once again!!

they did fine, no snow accumulated, just some off on flurries during the day, and it got into the teens - 20s at night, but not for many hours, and these are the 'cold resistant' ones.
    yay!
here's a pic i took today of them:

Up waaaaay too late watching our Gators Boogaloo to the Elite Eight with a complete team effort to shut down UCLA's high scoring squad with solid defense and clutch performances from the bench. The Dayton Flyers are waiting for the tilt that will send one team home and the other to Dallas for the Final Four.

been bored a lot since i've taken off, needed a new hobby. am signing up for a photography course at austin peay. other past hobbies were piano, and arts/crafts. my trusty korg dw8000 keyboard has finally fritzed out, and i'm not sure i can get it fixed. was thinking about a newer one. and y'all have seen my christmas tree. i made most of that overabundance/overkill of ornaments, and my thumbs are too messed up for 'hand intensive' hobbies. and i've been having fun with photography. (the flower pics don't count, that's just momma nature doing her thing) anyhow, the spring session is already filled up, so (i did sign up to be placed on waiting list, just in case) whenever the next one starts, i'll be in it.

Very cool. Hey if you have the time to do it, go for it! Seriously. I think sometimes universities can make even more offerings like this for the local community.

Oh, and by the way Pubsters, hell of a game the other night! Tough going for awhile but loved the way they battled and then sealed the deal. Hate to get my hopes up but with them being #1 overall and just looking good even when they aren't playing their best, I can't help it!:D

haha, got sidetracked watching uk @ louisville. there was a point to that post. suggestions for a decent, but not overly expensive camera.
i have an acct on google+ that i use just for photography, and online photography clubs. i have an album of pics there, as do other people i've met, and that's how i got interested
thanks in advance, cuz you all know i'll be asleep when you read this.
