god i must be bored. lol
at least i finally got the page to turn to '667'......
this is my last one, lol.
rain coming this afternoon will wash it all off...for the moment...
Love your ice trees Vert. Thanks for sharing.
Oh happy day! Chris Walker plays tonight. Billy D. is trying to tamp down fans expectations for Walkers debut. I think he starts Chris off slowly. I hope it will be another home court win for the good guys. I think tis team may be poised for greatness, Go Gators!!!!!
Is it Friday yet?
ice fog. that's what's outside now. lol.
jj thinks i'm kidding that '28' isn't bad.
it was 22 here about a month ago- had to wear shoes to sit on the porch
Okay folks, so I've been burning the midnight oil for a few weeks now. Cost me today. Slept right through my alarm and almost didn't make it to class. OTOH I did deliver one of my better lectures, so maybe I should oversleep more often
Have a great Tuesday, Pubsters!
it was supposed to rain and wash all of the ice accumulation away. then again, it was supposed to be 37 and sunny yesterday, which by itself, would have melted the ice away. really overcast both days. snow flurries yesterday, never got above 31. today, so much for 'rain' and 39. it got to 33 for about a split second, started raining, dropped to 32 again, and now we got ourselves another 'winter storm warning'.
where can i sign up to work at the weather channel? you don't have to be good at your job, apparently.
we've had these really cold weeks where we haven't gotten above 30. as an average....have had days not getting out of the teens. nights in single digits, low single digits.
but no snow. just ice. ice ice baby. lots of it.
wanted to take pics when the sun was supposed to come out yesterday. the sun, when it glints off the tree ice, sparkles, and against a blue sky, makes a pretty pic. so far, no sun.
droopy branches now reallllllllly drooping.
stopped icing a couple hours ago. but we just heard this cracking thud sound. sounded like firecrackers. but it was that juniper....just cracked and fell on top of the patio set table. i can't see the table anymore, don't know if it cracked the table, pretty sure it took out the umbrella pole.
but, power only flickered once (knock on wood, apparently even though it's stopped, stuff is still happening)
NSD has arrived, we will have a good class, lose some we really wanted, probably get one or 2 we were hoping for but man am I glad the drama over teenaged boys making decisions will be over.
How about our Gators, pulled another great win out of the fire last night over Mizoo, defense wins games
Good to see CW on the floor, 2 dunks, 2 blocked shots in about 5 minutes he is going to be a great addition to the Gator lineup!!
Happy NSD all!! Hoping for a great class. We always have a few surprises, disappointments. I want some real surprises!
And I certainly don't want some real disappointments
not so pretty when they fall down on your patio. lol
just got back from our 3 mile walk-it was 89 today and I am soaked clear through
we got UP to 26 today. nothing melted. no sun. was snowing this afternoon. lol.
