I have in years past but not yet. Then I read our news this morning and it was saying that central VA has seen a breakout of flu this season. Probably go tomorrow.

i have had some really bad flu. 4 yrs straight during the 80s was probably the worst run....
then the next time i had a really bad one was in 2002. oh it was BAD. i ended up in the hospital.
so i got the flu shot every year after that, so even with me working at a hospital, and husband working at another hospital, no flu. a little bronchitis or other upper respiratory virus here and there during the years, but no flu, and there's a huge difference. forgot this year. will not forget again. this has been awful. me and the husband have been really sick.
son and grandson had it too. i just wish it would end already. had three day fever starting new years eve, so that part's gone. but the cough and congestion...ugh.
i know there's a lot of controversy...well maybe not a lot, but it's out there....concerning vaccines...but for me, it's been really effective thru the years.

dang. dish net was playing several christmas music channels courtesy of sirius... one was total old (ancient) classics like my parents had..brought back warm and fuzzy memories for me. and to swap it up, i'd tune into their christmas pop station (which had newer stuff....) i was leaving it on in the bar for my mom's ancient kitty, for comfort, and was pleased to see they kept it up past new years. well it finally ended. waaaaaah. i'm never ready for the holidays to be over.

Been away for a couple of days spending time with Grandkids and then resting up from trying to keep up with them.
Love the way our Gator gymnasts opened the season, on the road, guns blazing and demonstrating they are ready to defend their NC from day one of the 2014 season. The Lady Gator basketball team never got untracked in their loss to LSU, played hard but could not claw back from a miserable start. A Butler has them off to a good start, hope the LSU loss was an aberration and not a precursor of future results.

Make it a great day Gators!!

Rainy start to the day here in Irvine. Front on the way - looking for a couple of nights in the low 30's this week. Gators host Georgia at the O'Dome tonight, without leading scorer Casey Prather, watch on ESPNU starting at 7:00 Mick & Mark on WRUF FM starting at 6:30.

Raining hard already here in Land O Lakes. I am still trying to wrap my head around the shooting at the Groves theater in Wesley Chapel. A retired policeman killed a man for texting, before the movie started. This is akin to road rage! What was he doing with a gun in the theater if he is retired. His young Wife was shot in the hand trying to protect him. This was practically in my back yard.

    Mornin' Pubsters!

Mama, it is crazy. No doubt some retired cops carry around rage. Years of it built up and I bet that guy never once sought to do anything about it. A damn shame too.

Best half of the year, had Georgia reeling after the first 6 or 7 minutes.... only the final score was ever in doubt

Me too Bill, hilarious! They are making it fun for students to bring them out to the game. Billy in the beard, really funny.
The retired policeman who shot the man at the theater in Wesley Chapel was defending himself against a bag of popcorn. SYG law, riiiiiiiiiiht!
Make your hump day a good one, Mama.
