They most certainly wouldn't...not the male ones anyway
Monday morning blues, that is all. Have a good one, I will try to.
Morning Gators...get ready for some cold tonight
Good Morning Gators, predictions for a low of 20 here tonight & 22 tomorrow night.
Mornin Pubsters! Going to be cold in VA too.
23 degrees....damn I hate cold weather...I should move to frickin Florida...oh wait I am already here...
Been up for a few hours - watching Imus and enjoying the heck out of Brandy Clark singing song off her 12 Stories Album. Dropped to 27.9 - now up to 29.8, looks like the heaters in the greenhouse probably kept the worst of the cold off my staghorns but can't be sure for a couple of days. Expecting a couple of degrees warmer today than last night then back to 'Florida Winter' temps by Wednesday.
Disappointed that Auburn let a NC slip away in the last 10 minutes of the game last night, special teams were the culprit, missed FG early and KO return for a TD late were the difference in outcome.
12 is the magic number. That is Richmond VA's current temp. Not even impressive given what I'm seeing on the boob tube from around the east.
Freezing morning to you all, well 36 degrees in Central Florida is close enough to freezing.
39 in Land O Lakes. Morning all. I am going to watch the first SEC game ag
Darn computer. First SEC game against South Carolina.
Good Morning Gators, dodged the hard freeze bullet last night only dropped to 31.9 and that was only an hour- the prediction is that there will be only one more night this month with near freezing tems- will be unloading the stags from their greenhouse this afternoon
I had to cover mine with sheets.
i had a beautiful staghorn fern a few years ago, and killed it when i forgot to bring it in from the cold. very bummed about it, i love them.
they are wonderful plants, I have some that I can trace back to ones I gave my Dad in 1971 or 72, don't want to lose them - looks like they may suffer some frond loss but so far no sign of potentially terminal damage
i love ferns in general (well boston ferns are maybe too messy..) but i love stags the best. i need another one, but should i trust myself? i can't believe i had that one, all those years, and froze it. and they don't take to frost very well.....not tolerant at all...
our jumbo staghorn seems to have survived just fine
