Seriously, Bill. Just can't do it like I used to lol.
I haven't slept like that in a long time.
I am envious
Good Sunday morning all.
Can't trust that day

Late to the Party today, 39 here in Irvine, power went out around 6 this morning, been restored long enough to get coffee going

44 on my back porch right now and with the beautiful moonlight I can see the steam rising off my pool
my shoulder is throbbing and I wanted to go get in the spa but just too damned chilly
oh- and mawnin"
Hope your shoulder feel better, Bill. But isn't the spa warm?
spa is but it is 40 feet from my back door
39 here in Irvine, watching IMUS on FBN and ready for another day helping my wife rehab from knee replacement
Didn't know about your wife's knee replacement. Ugh. I wish her a speedy recovery. You are a good man jj!
FWIW, it's 33 in Richmond VA right now.
jdr: she did left knee in late August and surgery on left one last Wednesday, all going well so far, she worked very hard prior to each surgery to get ready and then busts her ass doing rehab, much more mentally tough than I am, takes the pain needed to get the knee to its optimum flex ASAP and keeps on going. biggest thing now is avoiding infection and dealing with the confusion from the pain meds....btw I am one of the lucky guys who 'out kicked their coverage' by a far piece
Well, I tend to think women are much tougher then men, anyway, so it doesn't surprise me. When men can put up with the crap that women do and bear babies, then manybe we'll start matching them. Seriously though, I hope she recovers well. I know such things are tough and yes, worries about infections are always there. Good to year you outkicked the coverage.
Sending positive vibes your wife's way!
I know what she is going through as I had my rt knee done 11 years ago-am envious of the knees they have out there today
it is not a procedure for the faint of heart or for those who will not do the hard & painful work required to get the real benefit of the procedure, she has run into lots of folks at her gym in Palm Coast who had the operation but did not push themselves during the rehab and now complain about the operation or berate the surgeon who performed the operation. she came out of home rehab on the first surgery with better flexibility measurables than most folks have after 6 weeks of out patient PT, she is headed there again. We are planning a week in Savannah in March, it is our favorite town to visit, we have not been able to go for the last few years because she could not walk the market and the squares with her knee pain...
45 degrees here, noon. sun shining. much warmer than its been. good luck to your wife, jj, rehabbin' her knee.
Thanks Verti, she is doing very well, kept a diary of sorts for the first 4 weeks when she had the first surgery and she is ahead of her previous pace, to say she is an over achiever would be a serious understatement
