Signing on late today.
Got lots of things to do later.
Hope everyone is having a gret day.
First time in a while I could post in here!
so on my first day of my paid vacation I spend it at WORK!!!! WTH?!?!!?
Most likely I will be promoted here next week and had my request in for the vacation for a few months but one of the others decided to fib and write her day off request for today too since she had "school work" to do.... So they asked me to cover and like an idiot I said yes.
Good Morning Gators- looking for a statement win for our guys tonight, a road win against a top 10 team would surely boost our stock
PIM: Good Luck on the promotion, perhaps your willingness to help out in a crunch will help that happen- keep us posted, we are all pulling for you to get ahead :joecool:
Who's favored tonight Uf or Arz? I'm guessing Uf since we're higher ranked even though it's on rd.
being a road game probably makes it a push, or nearly one, on the odds boards
I hope so too, its roughly the same hours that I work now and Its a salary position that has real insurance not suplemental insurance.
The pay isn't all that great but it's still basically a $6/hr pay raise if I get it. The only barrier that I will have is that I'm a student. The former GM who is now the district manager loves me and thinks I will be good, the new GM (been here for 6 months ish) and I get along really well and he wants me, the former AGM got promoted to the property that we own next door and loves me. The only major issue is school, I explained to them that if the SHTF and I was needed that my phone is on at all times and my classes are only 1:15 mins long so I would be able to get there within an hour or so. Plus I made a good report on how I can save the company hours/money because I will be able to work the desk on the weekends like I already do thus saving them from having to pay someone else an 8 hour shift.
I think it will be mine
PIM, certainly sounds like you are in the best position you could be, of course business decisions often involve more politics than may be apparent on the surface- good luck to you
10PM is a long way away
Good Morning Gators, Our Gators let one get away last night, can't lose the last 4 minutes of each half when you are playing a good team in their gym- would have won on a neutral court but woulda, coulda, shoulda don't pay no bills- Go Gators!
Morning Strike, morning all on line this morning. We lost a squeaker last night, did not make Mama happy at all. Have good one, Mama.
That was one we should of had mama, we were winning the whole game. I really struggled to stay up for that game
Perhaps running some bleachers might be prescribed...
Was out trying to get some Christmas shopping done...wasn't very successful.
I'm on a role, busted one again
Good Morning Gators, heading into the downside of December, the tail end of 2012 make 12/17/12 a Great Day!
Monday morning and I have the day off yay. I know jjh. This year has gone way too fast. My fervent hope is for a better 2013!!!!
Good morning to one and all.
Made the first venture of actually shopping...got one gift. The one I had planned on buying wasn't what I was expecting. (If it seems as if I am talking in riddles, I am--hubby is a member of Gator Country.)
Morning all! Two days and I see my family again!
Asking for some prayers for the caring dedicated teachers across this nation...
Something I saw:
I have to reprint something I found today.
“To parents who aren’t educators, this may be hard to understand. Five days a week, we teach your kids. Joke with your kids. Console your kids. Praise your kids. Question your kids. Beat our heads up against a wall about your kids. Gush over your kids. Laugh with your kids. Worry about your kids. Keep an eye on your kids. Learn about your kids. Invest in your kids. Protect your kids. Love your kids.
We would all take a bullet for your kids. It’s nowhere in our job description. It isn’t covered in the employee handbook. It isn’t cited on our contracts. But we would all do it. So, yes—please hug your kids tonight—really, really tight. And don't forget to thank your child's teacher.
