For us basketball junkies, the summer league ought to be fun to watch.

Wonder if they will tweek the rules and play with two balls to keep everyone happy.

Randle officially declares for the draft. I expect the Harrison's will follow, but we will see. I think them being a top ten team hinders on their decision.

That's great for you guys Jeff. Going to make it tougher for the rest of the league but I feel like the Gators are going to be able to match up real well.

I have yet to find any verification on the twins. Not saying Jeff is wrong but I can't find anything else on it.

So, the only one Cali loses is Rangle?

    How about Young?

Even with Cali as the coach, given the talent available, this year, Kentucky will be a really strong team.

As much as I shutter at the thought of another preseason number 1 ranking, I think their return hinges on that. Without them I think 15-20ish. Despite the amount of talent up front, guard play is that important.

Twins return would certainly give KY a nice returning group but #1? Are you basing that on the tournament run or the regular season? Frankly I think UF has a comparable amount of talent returning as well and until KY proves
they can unseat UF as SEC Champs I like the Gators chances of a repeat better than anyone in the league.

Cal's ability to develop talent has been questioned by some. They argue that he recruits the best talent. Therefore, most of those first round and lottery picks would have been so under any decent coach.

Well, if the twins return, Cal's developmental talents will be put to the test. How much better will they be by the end of next year?

They got better over just last year. Don't know about you, but I don't see the team that ran through the NCAA's as being the same one that lost 10 games earlier in the year. They'll improve more next year in some ways and not in others. Draft stock isn't necessarily the best measure for player improvement. Look at Patric Young.

They've started with a 41-0 thread on Rupp's Rafters already.
