Why leave to be drafted in the 7th round? I don't get it.

@ZachAbolverdi: RT "@QuintonDunbar1: Business Decisions" #UF junior WR Quinton Dunbar, who is considering an early departure for the NFL Draft. #Gators

I don't think he would be drafted. It would be a terrible move.

I wonder at this point if it's jumping a sinking ship.

It would be disappointing. We need Quinton next year - with Debose back and the young talent at WR, coupled with a bigger focus (potentially) in the passing game under a new OC, you'd think he was well set.

If Dunbar leaves, our receivers are Debose, Robinson, Pittman, Andrades, Thompson, Bailey, Fulwood, Hawkins, Lane, and possibly Lauderdale. It's a pretty interesting group with a lot of potential

It would be good for us if Dunbar came back.

But it's hard to tell if it would be good for him. How will the new OC use him? Will any of the young guys pass him on the depth chart? Will he get hurt (as he has seen happen to a bunch of his teammates)?

All of those are unknowns to him at this point, so I can see why he'd be at least looking and weighing his options.

Oh he should come back and have a good year next season and get his degree. I hope he does because that would be in HIS best interest.

Like to see him come back... quite entertaining this season. He wanted to make a play so damn bad that he was tackling & throwing blocks on his teammates, and tripping over his own feet after receptions. I do like the energy he brings though/ fighting for yard after the catch.

Foolish posters. Same discussions every year with different players. Its in the PLAYERS best interest. Expect EVERY Jr. to seriously consider this decision. Would you want to return to this "team" after this year behind such a FEEBLE Oline and risk more injuries. Would you want to return to this "team" with the current win the TOP but not score and hope the D holds philosphy. Would you want to return.......... OR go to the No Fun League if you have ANY potential and get paid for bling, cars, tats, and women.

Hope he stays because I think he can be pretty good! Thus far he has shown almost nothing that would interest the pros. He needs a senior season to demonstrate his skills!

If he goes I don't blame him. The guy has to make the best decision for himself, and unless Muschamp makes a homerun hire that will take advantage of some of the possible talent at WR, next year will be a lameduck season. Is it better to wait one more year, having the same amount of "production" and/or risk injury and be undrafted, or just go ahead and try this year and see what happens? Either way, I wish all these guys success in the next stages in their life, pro or otherwise.

Dunbar's stats are a recipe for undrafted free agent:

    2011: 14 rec., 216 yds., 2 TDs
    2012: 36 rec., 383 yds., 4 TDs
    2013: 40 rec., 550 yds., 0 TDs
    Total: 90 rec., 1,143 yds., 6 TDs

If that was one season, he'd be a lock. As it is, he would need a monster combine to even be considered. IMHO, he really needs one more year if the NFL is going to be a reality.

I'd guess there is more to the story if he goes. That's usually the case in these situations. Grades, a family to support, issues with staff, etc.

Either way he chooses, I wish him the best
