... and maybe its not yet a strength for this team until we have some big play WRs as well ...

Sort of confusing to see my innocuous post deleted.

Whats the point of this? If you used the same formula last year Driskel would have fared about the same....but we went 11-1 and a BCS bowl....I'll take that....some of you guys don't know how to measure success and don't know how to be happy. Our defense is the best in the country and we are a run oriented team...get used to it.

And yet we lose to a much inferior Miami team...why is that?

As real as you want it to be. There are no limits on imagination here.

Exactly, which is why I had hoped it was a rhetorical question.

What I don't understand is why our coaches kept Driskel instead of Brissett. Muschamp wanted a drop back, pocket type passer. We all know Driskel was recruited to follow in Tebow's footsteps. He's a runner first, pass second qb. Always has been. I know it's easy to say this now, but if boom wanted a pro style, shouldn't he have stayed with the more polished Brissett?

Monday morning quarter backs are great, aren't they. Lol

Don't get me wrong, I'm still behind Driskel 100%, just kind of strange when you look back on it.

Brissett transferred because he felt he wouldn't play. Would there have been a QB competition in the spring that was truly open? A will never know because JB left the team. He very well could have taken the job if he was the better QB, but we will never know and based on what he showed us when he did play, he was not the answer either. More polished? Are you talking about his shoes or something else?

He came out of high school as the more polished pocket qb. I don't follow recruiting like I used to, but it was well known Driskel was behind in that department. Again, I like Driskel, just wondering why they chose a runner first, instead of a true pocket qb.

We lost 2 games. If we had an O with a pulse we would have played Bama.
