Get well soon.
Jeff out for season.
Driskel out for season?
Man, must be a broken ankle? I thought you can come back in about 2 months with an ankle break?
feel really bad for him but "man down man up'
I'm happy for Tyler, but we need a backup to Tyler or if he goes down, the season is over.
Major bummer. It's all on Murph now... great opportunity for a guy that's waited for his chance and done everything right.
Agreed. Being he's mobile as well, the risk of injury is up as well. Let's hope his backup is able to step-up like he did today in case he needs to.
I have a hunch Tyler won the job today regardless, but what a shame for Jeff. Hes a great, hard working Gator.
Anyone a little worried we are going to see some dirty plays to try and injure tyler and end UF's season?
I don't know. I wouldn't put it past some teams.....
This. Sucks for Driskel. As for Murphy, he has toiled in obscurity for years. Dude has more than paid his dues. So happy for him. And he happens to be a gamer, too!
And risk facing Skyler Morningweg? Seriously, this offense couldn't get much worse. I think change isn't necessarily bad. Will LSU crush us, of course. But everyone believed next year would be the star frosh QB, so looks more like it now.
Couldn't that be said about any QB on any top team?
Unfortunately in football injuries happen. You don't have to have someone play dirty for a guy to lose his season like JD had today. Brutal sport that chews up it's young.
Can anyone remember anything like that before, though? The had coach just announcing to the sideline reporter that a player is out for the year? Without even the chance to talk to the doctors or anything?
That was just weird. But good luck Jeff, and good luck Tyler.
I bet Brissett is wishing he would have stayed now.
Broke ankle. Don't need a second opinion. All it takes is an X ray. Think he was letting Murphy know right then and there, "its your team"
Wouldn't that have been strategy with Jeff?
Didn't seem unusual to me... I've seen coaches do it with the halftime reporter.
How do you know Muschamp didn't talk to any doctors? He said Driskel is going to need surgery...I'm pretty sure a medic told him that.
