Miamis attendance is higher than Pittsburgh and Chicago...why is no one questioning their fanbase? New England is only drawing 5000 more per game.

Again, Miami has a huge stadium... Even with 15,000 empty seats they will still outdraw some teams that sellout. They need to reduce the capacity by about 8,000, this would bring it in line with many other stadiums.

Also, I am a Phins fan who loves Jacksonville, and I know the impact losing the Jags would have. My family has had season tix since day one. They arent going anywhere.
    Winning heals these things.

Most Dolphin fans are older fans who remember the glory days. It's hard for me to fathom the idea that there are young people who were not even BORN the last time the Dolphins won a playoff game (1999) and middle-aged adults who were not around the last time we were in a Super Bowl.

And those fans, by and large, emigrated out of SFla in the late 80's and 90's. The hard-core Dolphin fan base is dispersed all around the country.

But the last few away Dolphin games I have been to (in New Orleans and Atlanta) some 15 years ago... there were TONS of aqua-clad Dolphin fans there. The franchise has fallen on hard times the last decade but there are still vestiges of the glory that remain. The Dolphins now are about where the Packers were in the '80s. The team that used to be champions that needs some work.

Very well said. I can't wait for the Jags to move. Let's not forget being forced to the sports bars on Sunday afternoons before DirecTV, which put a big dent in my wallet as a cash-strapped college student. I remember the Orlando Sentinel poll when the local TV station was forced to broadcast Jags games, which had 93% of fans wanting the Dolphin games. The NFL didn't give a rip.

I want all three NFL teams to be great. I want All three big college teams to be great.

I want the Phins and the Gators to be the greatest.

I want Florida to rule the football universe, and I want the Gators and Phins to rule over the greatest state.
