Does this class get stronger or does it stay about the same ranking?

Do we keep Cook? Do we somehow land Carter or Adoree? As of right now what's your gut feeling on this class my gut tells me we finish strong.

I don't know if we land those two but we do have a chance. I think Cook has a chance of flipping but I would think Jackson/Lammons is most likely to. Muschamp's job is secure which only helps keep stability in the class and a new OC would only improve recruiting since none of the recruits are committed because of Pease. I have questions concerning Coach Davis bc I know a lot of recruits like him and are committed because of him so idk if a new hire of Oline coach would hurt/help the class. His line has obviously underperformed but they have also been decimated by injury (like most of the team) this year so part of me wonders if he should be replaced bc the line performed pretty well last year. Overall I have a good feeling about recruiting once the season is over.

The recruiting will have some up and downs in the next few weeks, it really all depends on the perception of the coaching staff and stability. I believe we will see some coaches let go after the florida state game, and others hired, but none before that. I think the only coach that most of our current wavering commits are watching is T Rob. I think Dalvin may indeed flip, but I think we keep J.C., and Lammons. These two see the secondary playing time, we rotate a lot of guys at safety and cb along with our Nickle and Dime defense. As far as some others committing to us, maybe we get Carter, but sounds like Uga, this class was always going to be small but had alot of talent, but now it may be small and be sub par on real play makers other than Lane and Grier if things don't turn out.

Basically we have to hope that all our commits want to be Gators and would come to UF regardless of who is coaching here. Lets hope some other solid HS ballplayers also fall into that category because we need all we can get to help us out of the mess we are in.

I think somehow this negative season will spawn a strong recruiting class. In these times with a poor season and negative Publicity the gift to gab goes a long way, and we know when it comes to recruits champ can sell ice to a Eskimo.

The sales pitch should be all positions are open and they can come in and compete for a slot. ;)

As much as we would like to believe recruits want to become Gators, they also want to get to that next level. They want to show case their talent and have fun playing. Look, I love UF, but if my kid were a 4-5 star WR, I'm not sure this would be the place for him. At least in the last 3 to 4 years it hasn't been. Now, if he were on the defensive side of the ball, maybe Fla would be the place.

I understand your perspective. If it was my kid was an offensive player I would tell him if you really love it and that is where you want to go, more power. However, if he were wary because he felt that it might be a hindrance to getting to the next level, then I would tell him he probably should weigh all his options.

    Add
5 Stars - Adoree Jackson & Lo Carter
    4 Stars - S - Tabor, OT- Sharpe, CB - Adams, DE/OLB- Featherston

    Maybe Add:
    - 3 Star RB Williams ASU Commit
-4 Star WR Sousa - sow commit
-4 Star WR Moral Stephens (he hasn't taken or scheduled any visits, which could mean grades, but that is pure speculation)

    Lose
    4 Star - D. Cook & JC Jackson

So I think the class will only get better and with expected transfers, I hope we push for a larger class.

From the looks of it...this will be a modest class..not a top 5 class...

Adoree's punt return vs Chaminade the other night was on ESPN's Top Plays of the Day this morning (Saturday). Pretty wild return where he displayed some sick athleticism by hurdling a tackler and then turning on the jets.

Yeah, I know and Holloway needs to get him on the team. Do they have scholarships too? Rainey and Demps were Champions on the track. Long jump, triple jump or high jump just some suggestions.
