It looks like the Obamacare is turning the corner. Next step is getting people signed up. I predict that the Pubs will be disappointed in their obstruction efforts in that area, as well.

Yes and no, the website did work and was able to get a price on my heath insurance. Premiums only up $200 a month on similar deductible type plan. Really need that maternity coverage....

I've read those complaints before. Seeing as insurance is at least somewhat based on risk, why would insurance companies charge you $200 a month for something that you could never possibly use?

Hell, I think the comedy of the most failed IT launch of any kind in the history of that industry has run its course. By all means, let it work so that people can quickly and efficiently learn how hard they'll take it in the bung having to have one of this plans inflicted on them so they can underwrite other people's needs that they individually have no need or want to have covered.

Because they are spreading the risk for maternity care among all of the policy holders, so even though I wont use it, part of my premium is funding those who will.

After this debacle of the web site, how can anyone think the gov't can run something as large and as important as our health care? It is lunacy, supported by the naive. or by the greedy, thinking they will get something for nothing.
It will cause hardship among many and even result in bad haealth care for millions.

Well really Medicare and Medicaid are broken and realistically a big part of Obamacare is going to be Medicaid.

If this were a Republican plan I would be more than disappointed. The only reason Obama supporters defend this mess is that it's from their own. We should be better than that. If only the website were preventing tens of millions from obtaining healthcare they want at a fair price. It does us no good to deceive each other, especially on behalf of this President. So far Obamacare is a complete failure.

The damage from the bungled rollout is done. Nothing can reverse that. The only thing that could ever help it is to hit the NEW self-imposed deadline of Dec 1st. If not, it gets even worse.

But the website rollout will pale in comparison to the fallout over just how many people get screwed with these new plans. Like your plan you can keep it? Not. Like your doctor you can keep them? Not. Will save the average family of 4 about $2,500? Not.

This law's reverberations will be felt by the nation for some time to come, and the fallout for Dems will be steep. It's only just begun.

Between the ACA and the deal in IRAN the Dems are splitting camps so that can only be good for the Republicans.

Romneycare's enrollment didn't ramp up until year 3. That state's residents say that they approve of the plan by 80%.

This notion that it had to be a bug-free panacea on day one is asinine.

Just because we are on a new site does not mean the rules have changed. That means insults are not allowed.

You're taking about one small state versus an entire country. Secondly, the outcome here is going to be large amounts of citizens rolled onto Medicaid.

:D Since my wife and I will soon be 70, we can't wait for other folks to pay for our maternity and birth control coverage.
