I saw some stuff about how Dexter Williams reacted badly to something a reporter said about Florida slow playing him, and now he is not interested at all in comming to UF. I don't know how reliable this is, but there's stuff all over Twitter about it.

Btw, I don't know who KingDOM is, but FlexOnTheCarry is Dexter and J2 Airlines is Jalen Julius who's committed to us.

Pretty sure the coaches smoothed things over. UF wants and has room for both, Luke was talking out of his ass in that swamp secrets.

Didn't like the first part, but JJ's tweets makes me think either JJ is leaving or knows D Williams is coming and is trolling. No one that's committed and being honest would say their team 'tried' someone or it would get them called by our coaches immediately and the tweet would be deleted.

Simply curious, what makes you think they smoothed things over?

So a guy committed to another school is upset about us slow-playing him?

He is coming to FNL. Doubt he would be coming if he was upset?

    http://www.gatorcountry.com/feature/florida-coming-strong-williams/

Apparently williams was just playing up the crowd on twitter. This article quotes him as exited to be playing next to ray ray and he isn't planning on making a Final decision till February, so I don't know where that "slow playing him" came from. This article sounds good to me

Yeah I had seen that this morning, thanks. I'm glad it wasn't true, and I hope he likes us enough to flip in February.

That is till we start actually playing. I'm not to concerned. A good showing on the field could bring us even better prospects. Hell we are in damien harris' top five still so.....

Could be to help keep fans and coaches at UM off his back. Just imagine how people around here would react if he were committed to us but he kept talking about how he was still interested in Miami...

IDK, he seems kind of flighty to me. I guess the Julius decommit did have an effect. UM has the dreaded 90% committed tag affixed to them.

Yeah I mean it could be, but having to split up 60% of his reps with guys who are just as talented as him just doesn't sound appealing.

Is our current backfield scaring off some recruits this year? I wouldn't wana battle any of our guys for a starting job if I were a recruit.

I don't know, but there are 2 other RBs in the UM class equal to or better than he is. We only took Powell last year, and don't have an RB in this class yet, so it shouldn't really be that intimidating to a 2015 recruit.

I just don't know why a RB wouldn't wana play for us. It's not like they're not featured in our offense. Up until this season (hopefully), that's the only thing we did feature on offense.

We'll see though, everything happens for a reason. Plus Flipper hasn't started working his magic yet, that comes after the season ;)
