    Simply devastating.

I can't even imagine how he feels.

At least it's just a meniscus. He can be back in 3 weeks

As I mentioned in the NBA thread, he plays borderline out of control, but the ironic part of this injury was that he was simply turning back up court when it happened. I imagine it was from overcompensating to protect the other knee.

The only player I've seen come back on a basketball court and go full out crazy after a knee injury has been Westbrook, but that's because he's a bionic superman and it has only been for a few weeks. Even his first game back he was driving as hard to the basket as he did before. But he also never had an injury before, was over 400 straight games played with starters minutes and his injury was caused by another player.

Rose came back and tried to be the Rose he used to be and that wasn't going to happen so fast. When Paul had microfracture surgery, he barely even jumped his first year back. Rose isn't that kind of player and relies a lot on his athleticism, so maybe he won't ever get back to where he was.

Put him on the list with Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill.

Absolute shame. So much fun to watch him play.
