    pretty big misrepresentation.

It was a 5 1/2 hour hearing. Congressmen came and went. True, 15 Democrats on the committee weren't there for that part of the hearing. 19 Republicans were gone, too.

but let's pretend that the Democrats walked out because, you know, they just don't care.

15 of them walked out when the relatives of the deceased got up to speak. Yeah just a coincidence that was the time they all needed to leave.

Those damn pubs are just messing with Barry.

If anyone walked out when the family got up to speak it was disrespectful and I don't care if you have a D or an R by your name. So quit taking up for wrong River.

    This.

If that's what happened I'd be pretty angry.

He's not taking up for 'wrong'. He's taking up for...."misinformed"...."mistaken"..."taken out of context"---you know, those things which none on the left would ever admit to as being wrong or disrespectful.

They don't even have the balls to admit Obama LIES when it's patently obvious he does. They just say, "he was wrong"....and of course lose any credibility(however minute) they ever had when they do.

Where is your link to support your assertion that the walkout did not occur as reported in the OP link?

You "say" it did not happen as reported, and you may be correct. But you are deserving of any deference of accuracy you do not alllow of others.

As it stands here now, we have a cited source stating roughly a score of Democrats walked out of the hearing just prior to testimony of families of the victims. YOU personally assert this is not accurate but provide no FACTUAL cite in support of your assertion. You would be immediately demanding proof of such a claim made by others, but attempt to wade through here unchallenged but your unsupported statement.

Do as you demand. Provide a countering link or cite.

Sure. As the pictures show, there were two Democrats and six Republicans during the testimony in question. Like I said, it was a 5 1/2 hour hearing and they came and went. That means that 15 Democrats and 18 Republicans (I said 19 earlier, my mistake) were not there at that exact time.
There's no indication anyone, or at least a large group of them, got up and walked out in some kind of protest to that particular speaker.
But that's what Republicans have tried to turn it into. You've got someone from Fox accusing Democrats of spitting on the graves. I mean, damn. No shame at all?

Democrats have about as much interest in exposing the truth as Putin does in Syria.

You provided a still photo that shows a moment in time. Does nothing to prove your point that the originally cited article is a lie, false, or even misleading.

Your photo only shows that the seats were empty, not when they became so. The orginally linked news story may in fact be a lie, false, or merely misleading. You have certainly asserted so. All I am asking is you proffer up the same level of proof in your assertion you religiously demand of others.

Believe it or not, I would like to know if the assertion one side of the aisle walked out en masse in the lead up to the families testimony. If so, this would be a very loud comment. If the seats were already empty, then the original article would be false bluster.

Your photos do nothing to demonstrate the validity of your personal assertion.

    Try again.

So you cite two lib links to prove your point, and yet criticize the conservative links others provide? So friggin predictable from you. YOUR cites are always valid and without scrutiny, while no one else's are.

What music should we line up next on the hit parade for you to take the lead in the Hypocritical Two-Step Dance Marathon??

Let's from the right you've got Issa posting a photo of only the Democratic side with two congressmen. And that's what started the whole conservative rant about Democrats walking out.
Now you've got multiple images that show the entire room. Those same two Democrats are there, the same people testifying ... and six Republicans there.
If you don't believe the multiple photos, you certainly have no reason to believe the one Issa posted. And so there's nothing to discuss, right?

    Nope, you are wrong.

You made an assertion that the Democrats did not walk out immediately prior to the families speaking. You posted a photo of a moment in time after they were gone and the other side was also absent. This does not prove your assertion that the Democrats had left the room long before the families spoke.

All I am asking is for you to offer the same level of verification you demand of others. Where is your proof that the Democrats had vacated the room long before the time the families of the victims were to speak. I see clearly they were in fact gone, that is not what you asserted.

Or else you can merely admit you have no proof of your claim and were guilty of the very sin you continually admonish from others.
