Kansas lost...please rethink your highlight selection....Only one Florida highlight and about 5 kansas highlights? C'mon...you're better than that.

mainstream college basketball fans don't care about florida basketball. the whole country wants to see wiggins. i agree that it is not fair and the gator players deserve more credit for shutting down the rest of the team and making wiggins have to beat the gators alone. at the end of the day they are all about the ratings, wiggins=ratings.

Plus, we didn't have many sexy plays--alley oops, run outs, pull up threes, etc. Our highlights were sound defense and great first half work on the boards, not to mention a defensive game plan for the ages. Donovan was on his game tonight.

resrina, Kansas had a ridiculous amount of turnovers. Do you think it was our defense causing it, or self inflicted wounds?

I'm surprised they didn't highlight the 21-0 run. They've done that before with short clips of each shot.

Or Finney-Smith going off from 3. ESPN just chose to feature Kansas.. Oh well, later this year you can feature us cutting down some nets ;)

we got some decent highlights on fox sports 1. i think i may be the only person in america that saw them... but hey; it was better than espn's version. plus charissa thompson is better than looking then what espn showcases.

You should stop watching Sportscenter. Soon ESPN will be to sports what MTV is to music.

To people who actually care about college basketball, sportscenter dropped the ball. Florida's defense, Wilbekin's play, and Kansas' problem against the zone were the biggest stories of the game.

Truth is though, sportscenter is made for the average sports fan/channel flipper. They're trying to keep eyes on the TV for as many commercial breaks as possible. I cant' really blame them for showcasing Wiggins highest scoring game yet. They know he's a future top draft pick and any time they can spend hyping him is an investment in the NBA product they're invested in.

Your sporting life will be much better the less you watch ESPN or go to espn.com. Trust me, I gave it up years ago.

1000% this. CBSsports.com also does a much better job of not slobbing all over the big markets and "premiere" teams, in my opinion.

I understand the Kansas love (glamor program, Wiggins, etc.), but was bothered by the analysis after the game that solely focused on "what's wrong with Kansas?", as if losing on the road to Florida was some sort of upset.

True, but remember Kansas started the year already ranked high and immediately knocked off Duke. The overreaction to this caused many (because of how young and talented they are - combined with the Duke win) to pretty much pencil them in as a 1 seed. Now they've lost 3 of 4. I don't think the focus is on the loss to UF, but to the last four games in general.

IMO, if it weren't for Florida's two losses (maybe even one of them), more of the story would have been about this win sealing Florida as one of the top few teams in the nation this year.

True.. I'd also like to add Fuse TV to the list of sellouts. I used to love watching Fuse TV and their all rock all the time station. Soon, however, they added some rap, then more and now its all rap. After that, they started adding reality shows to complete the MTV-like sellout of a lifetime. Sorry I went off-topic but losing Fuse still makes me mad. :)

We didn't have many replay worth plays that I remember. Once Walker gets here, we will get nice replays :p. Hill will have 2-3 alley oop assist a game(in my head at least).

CBS has us at 12 on their rankings even before last night because of our lack of depth and both losses were on the road vs unbeaten teams.

We will be top ten next week after beating Kansas. Really do like CBS though, they seem to actually follow the sport, not just assume things.

Not that I'm defending ESPN or anything, but they have a headline article on Florida beating KU that makes a very similar point as the CBS one: we're finally getting healthy and last night's beatdown of Kansas is a sign of things to come.
